Fantastic espresso and gelato. Try the raspberry sorbet! Mmm….. Red Velvet, Cookies & Cream, Fior di latte, they’re all delicious. If you’re in the area, stop by. The lady who helped us informed us the owner is from Naples and makes the gelato and sorbe himself. When you go, stop in the back for the gorgeous views from their sitting area.

My friend took me here because we were in the mood of something sweet. The gelato was absolutely perfect and I also ended up havinf a very interesting interaction with the owner. He was very sweet and so welcoming.

A wonderful coffee shop, one of the hidden treasures of Charleston. They have a nice book selection and a quiet area to enjoy your cup. Their gelatos are very good and they allow you to sample each. I am updating this review from 4 to 5 stars because of the consideration of the owner and the care they personally devote to each of their customers. I wish the city supported more buisnesses like this.

Every time if any friends visiting Charleston I would like taking them to Caffe Romeo place and especially I ask them to taste the Gelato. This is a awesome place where you can get an instant refreshment after seeing the seating area.

This is better than the gelato I had in Italy! Delicious and the owner is super friendly! Plus they stay open late!

Best espresso! I drove 5 hours for a bag of beans! Seriously, driving from Stafford, VA to Olathe, KS. Told my husband we HAVE to stop, non negotiable. (I'd discovered this gem while here on business.) I got a large bag of beans and a large cup of espresso. There was a lady in front of me getting multiple containers of Gelato and pastries. Apparently , she is a local who is a regular customer. I also got a cup of cinnamon Gelato, 😋. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

This is one of my favorite spots in Charleston! The owner, Mario, is so kind and really takes the time to get to know the customers and the gelato is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I'd highly recommend the cantaloupe or toasted marshmallow.

I went here yesterday and the Gelato was very good. The owner is authentically Italian and very affable. He had everyone in the store smiling and laughing. It was a great experience and I will be going back here soon.

Everything about this gelato shop and Patisserie is perfect the gelato is delicious with lots of fresh and unique flavors, the authentic Italian pastries are simply divine, the outdoor deck and overall atmosphere is relaxing with a European flair. Charles the barista was awesome and Mario the owner so nice.
