Such an enjoyable experience! Feels like an odd place to find a great cup of coffee and you may wonder if you are in the right place. Seems like a wholesale coffee roaster is their main business but caters to first timers too. They have a small area for tasting their roasts. Pull up a stool, read the varieties they offer, and sip pour overs until you find your perfect roast. Didn't plan on buying a pound but couldn't help myself.

After scoring a great deal on a burr grinder, we clearly needed some beans for testing purposes. And I’m so glad we headed to Roast House. Phelan was super knowledgeable and passionate about the coffee as he led us through a mini-tasting to find the perfect beans for us, and so far, the coffee we’ve been brewing (Mocha Java, with some F Bomb waiting in the wings) has been primo. Hard to imagine a better coffee experience 👍

Love this place. Great stop on our monday afternoon walks and always pleasant interactions with the baristas. Tasting is so fun and there are SO many options. I just wish there was a little more seating--I know thats not what they're going for...but I wish it was haha.

We first purchased coffee from Roast House when they started their business and knew they were going to be successful. We can't buy it on our area so we stopped by on a recent trip. The owner is very knowledgeable about what makes their coffee award winning -- only the best beans and drink it within 21 days of roasting. Loved sampling a variety of roasts. Walked out with a couple of great bags of coffee and a smile. Can't wait to brew it!

Haven't joyed this coffee and atmosphere every time I've been there. Last week was no exception.

I live in Chicago, home of Intelligentsia coffee. They win coffee competitions all the time. So easy to find here. And I won’t drink it. Right now I’m enjoying F-Bomb, no cream, no sugar, no nuthin, but great tasting coffee. My hubs and I are going on a two week vacation soon and I already have my supply of f-bomb instant (Yes! Instant!!) ready to take with us. Seriously the best coffees, owned by a woman, and THE BEST customer service. Perfection.

Every time I go in, I leave with great coffee and a tasty drink. People are always nice and helpful, they will always make pour over tasters. Love going here

This is the best coffee in the world, and I've traveled all over the world! Not only is their customer service and friendliness over the top, but the level of quality control is unmatched. It's important to me to not harm my health by consuming coffee. Being fresh-roasted and chemical free ensures there are more antioxidants and the rich variety of flavors are incredible to explore. You can find many organic brands, but Roast House is FRESH and MOLD FREE! That they pursue purity and support small scale farmers and heirloom varietals is phenomenal. A product that has this much impact on the world needs what they are doing. I was a fan before I was a Spokane local, and now I'm stoked to live near my favorite roaster in the US.

Deborah and her crew roast up the best fair-trade organic women-owned farmed coffee they can source. Support this fantastic local roaster, and visit their coffee shop, F1rst Ave. Coffee in downtown Spokane.
