COZY COFFEESHOP! Great coffee, friendly service and good seating both inside and outside. No food items on the menu, but has delicious pastries. The cafe doubles as a mini convenience store with wine and beer.

best kept secret. been driving past this place for years and never stopped in until three days ago. back again for 2nd time now; great selection of coffee and convenience groceries and a cool spot to hang out.

This lil community gem is so cozy, baristas are super friendly, Michael should run for mayor, and it's always stocked with fun gifts, treats and nutrition in case you need a snack. Love the outdoor seating as well. Thanks 7!

This coffee shop is located in the middle of a neighborhood, and you may just end up not realizing it exists, save for the couple of outdoor chairs.
Inside it’s cozy and somewhat dated, with a lot of random tiny items being sold. A good place to catch up with someone but not a good place to work or chill out.
The coffee itself is strong. 3 shots in a medium latte. More of a foam than microfoam.

Very good drip coffee, definitely the best in the U District. Kind of a cross between a cafe and a corner store. Good pastries, but usually they're gone by noonish. Friendly staff. Parking out front is 30 min limit, so it's easy to stop by and grab a coffee if you're driving by. Customers are mostly locals, not a student hot spot.

Adorable coffee shop in a picture perfect neighborhood. Try the pastries!

This is a fantastic cafe for fresh coffee and some quick grab-to-go breakfast. I love the locally owned small business and the friendly staff at the counter. They have a small selection of coffee but it's possibly their own roasting process or something that makes the coffee so good! Give it a try if you love coffee and want to buy from unique local businesses!

Cozy vibes, good coffee, quiet street with plenty of street parking :)

This is my favorite coffee shop in U District. They roast their own so the coffee is always good. They also have a few upscale groceries.

Cute little place and the staff are super friendly. Low noise level and a great place to study. It's not terribly big so finding a space might be hard, but it has a great feel and the coffee is good for the price! They also have a solid selection of beers, wines, and other cold beverages as well as snacks. Would recommend
