A truly unique experience to walk the shops, vendors, and the waterfront. A Seattle tourist must-see. During busy times, it is packed with people on the streets and complex, but the pier by the Seattle Aquarium is a peaceful retreat nearby for other people (like me) who get social anxiety around large crowds.

What not to love? During the week it is super chill and not a lot of people out and about

Come Saturday afternoon, there are people out living life! Everyone is grabbing a bit to eat, walking around, buying some beautiful flowers and enjoying life. The energy is amazing.

Absolutely amazing experience and must visit iconic site in Seattle. 6 floors plus 30+ food places to choose from with great variety and options, especially for fish. Definitely a 2-3 hour stop. People who work here are also very helpful.

Street parking is not easy to find though. Also, most stores here close before or at 6 sharp.

They also have stores selling seafood (fresh and smoked), flowers, shirts, groceries, honey, collectibles like stamps, coins, old newspaper articles etc.

It’s always so nice to visit pike place market. It’s very lively and so many things to look and walk around. Very interesting and unique things. In the pike place market, they have different types of farmers shops from fishes to flowers and homemade jams etc.
There is also the first Starbucks store in this area which you can always visit.
Feels good when we visit and walk around this area. They have made some renovations which is making the market look more fresh and new. There are also donuts available which they make it fresh and sell. Whenever we can we visit here for a walk on the weekends.

A must see, must explore place! There are several blocks and several floors of shops, restaurants, and everything in between! I highly recommend you dedicate a day to this area or what we did was get a hotel near it and go through it everyday on our weekend trip!

Highly recommend Rachel's Ginger Beer, Shy Giant Frozen Yogurt, Pike Place Chowder, and Old Stove Brewing Co.!
Be aware the famous Starbucks in the Pike Market is the oldest, NOT the original. The original used to be where the Seatown seafood restaurant is, but it burned down and other stores have closed elsewhere in the city, meaning that Starbucks is the oldest existing one but is in fact store number 5!

Such true Seattle culture! LOVED watching the guys tossing the fish! Fresh food, flowers and fish everywhere you looked. We are planning to visit again today.

Wow, what a fabulous experience.

Like walking back in time. This market has so much character. The fish monger makes the day, with their fun fish throwing and playfullness. It was hilarious watching people's interaction with the fish mongers.

I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful display of fresh flowers at a market, and they were cheap. So many tulips and the freshness and quality were superb.

Pike place market is a large public market for seafoods, fresh flowers and some souvenirs. Even I visited on weekdays, the market is crowded. If you buy fish or something there, you will enjoy the fish throwing show. You won’t miss it because the stand is right next to the main entrance!

Pike Place Market is arguably one of the most popular venues in Seattle. If you are short on time and are visiting Seattle during one of its warmer periods, Pike Place Market should be one of the places you visit.

You will probably have to park a walking distance away from the market if you visit on a weekend.

Expect a crowd if you're there on a weekend.

There are several vendors and places to buy food, flowers and different types of goods.

There are two sections to Pike Place Market. The first is the farmers market area, and the second is the Ferris Wheel area.

The Ferris wheel area has some attractions and a restaurant.

This place is very neat, has scenic views and tons of shops and restaurants around. This is a great place to bring loved ones and friends to hang out and have fun. Make sure you find the gum wall and smell the minty fresh air, ha!
