Had a lovely egg and cheese with tomatoes on a jalapeño bagel. Tasty and comforting. Americano coffee as well. The staff were friendly and chilled and the atmosphere of the shop in general relaxing !! The total was about $14

Had the chicken bacon ranch wrap. Was really hot and so the lettuce was wilted and not too tasty. I think with spinach it woulda been better. I really enjoyed the passion Iced tea lemonade it was refreshing and delightful. Loved the atmosphere and environment.

Found this little gem of a coffee spot a block away from our Airbnb and I couldn’t be happier. Located in a historic brick building on First Avenue, the generically named Local Coffee Spot is an extremely charming spot for coffee, snacks, and great downtown people watching. Caffe Vita beans make for an excellent, medium-bodied espresso shot and I thoroughly enjoyed my latte. I’ll be back for sure!

Finding a coffee shop where the baristas are enthusiastic about the fundamentals (espresso and coffee) is rare. Finding a coffee shop where the barista is knowledgeable on those same fundamentals, doubly so. Shoutout to Fern and Torin! These gals radiate so much genuine joy/positive energy to my day and I’m sure many others feel the same- you rock! Among the many local roasters, Local Coffee Spot in Belltown stands almost alone!
On top of the impeccable service-
They managed to to incorporate a grunge aesthetic with open spaces and random plants everywhere. The point is, the atmosphere is fresh yet unconventional, I’m at peace every time I visit. The coffee is also very good. I recommend the Brown sugar cinnamon latte. Oh and the best part is, they serve oat milk and have an awesome line up of unique and well blended beans
If you enjoy quality coffee, exemplary service, and clean/minimal/yet aesthetic cafe - you need to visit this place!

Nice decor. I got dark chocolate mocha. It tasted more like hot chocolate.

Friendly service and good coffee. The place is a bit small and the air circulation is limited, so if felt stuffy on a cold winter day with the heater on.

The gentlehuman who helped us was super welcoming and kind. The graphics at this place are GORGEOUS. Their Andies Mint seasonal drink advert is so pretty and fun - and the drink was perfection. Great local spot to check out!!

Truly our local coffee shop! Friendly place that we love to visit for coffee. Reason for three stars is the opening hours reflected online aren’t always accurate. Several times over the past months I’ve tried to arrive at the assigned opening time, and then increasingly built in a buffer window arriving 15-20 minute after opening, and the shop isn’t open. There are sometimes staff inside, but it’s unclear when the shop will open. Suggest accurately reflecting the hours so folks in the neighborhood can plan accordingly! Appreciate it!

Fun coffee shop with plenty of seating inside and out and a lot of food and drink options! Shen Zen Kombucha is my new favorite! Caffe Vitta coffee is great! I was able to get work done as the music is at an appropriate level and the clientele is considerate. The barista was kind and patient and we had a nice chat. Drip coffee was good and we’ll be back to try more.

The coffee I had was just okay. The lack of customer service on the other hand was abhorrent. I walked into the shop yesterday afternoon, no one in front of me so I immediately go to the counter to order. I see that there’s only one guy working and was in the middle of making a drink; I don’t have any expectation that he’d stop what he’s doing immediately, but a simple acknowledgment that you have someone in front of you I.e “I’ll be with you in one moment” is honestly just simple customer service. After literally 6 minutes of watching him go back and forth between front and back, then check his phone I finally asked “can I order now?”, he took my order begrudgingly. This is Seattle, there are a variety of other options nearby where the employees don’t have a musty attitude.
