🛑 Worst Coffee In Wallingford.

I first visited Fuel pre-remodel. My order is a quad americano. The coffee was so weak I thought she may have misheard me.

I went back. Same thing.

Post remodel I thought I would try again. After getting the weakest coffee I've ever had for the 3rd time, I vowed never to return.

Well at 7 AM on a Sunday they are the only place open in Wallingford. My quad americano you could liteally see through and my wife's 16 Oz decaf americano was like dirty water which was poured down the sink.

So Fuel has now won the worst coffee in Wallingford award 4x now. Back to The Muddy Cup on Monday.

Cold sandwich, paid $8 to go home and warm it and run back. The egg, mushroom and per barista goat cheese sandwich had no cheese. The chai was all foam and no latte. Just sad. Never will come back. Go to grand central instead.

I go here often when I’m in town to visit my mom. They open early, the staff are friendly, and the coffee is excellent. The renovation looks great and the mini bookstore is a great addition.

It's coffee. It's delicious. Really not much more to it. Sometimes you just needed your coffee shop to be a good coffee shop. This one succeeds in spades.

Sleek coffee shop worthy of a stop. Carries Sea Wolf baked goods.

I know most places overdo it on syrup, but I don't understand why I pay for chocolate in a mocha when it comes out tasting like milk. A little too subtle for my taste. Service is good though and it's a good spot to sit and work.

Good coffee but really bad Customer Service. The lady was really short with us and was obviously bothered by us being there (and was busy with her phone). The vibe of the place was even hostile when I came in. I always have a hard time ordering coffee because I'm not a Seattlite, and this was probably the most impatient Barista I've encountered. I pretended not to notice.

very laid back atmosphere with seating in the front but also more in the back. good wifi and pretty standard espresso offerings. barista was friendly and bathrooms clean. probably not a great place to catch up but great to get some work done.
