This place is a Georgetown institution where you might catch famous faces from the 90s sipping coffee alongside the neighborhood folks who make this place their second living room. If you didn't make it to Seattle before Amazon ruined it, here is your chance to see what it used to feel like. Bonus points for Tad sightings!

In the middle of Georgetown with an old Seattle vide (not the cookie cutter coffee shop of...welll...you know who from SODO). Pastries, coffee with indoor and outdoor seating.

Very nice staff and great coffee!

Not very impressed by the coffee. Just randomly stopped here on my way to avoid sbucks but probably should have just went there.

Coffee was great but the "barista" dude, wow... Look, I get it. It's covid-land. I maintained 10 feet of distance from the counter, said please and thank you,, paid quickly with a credit card, tipped in cash, waited patiently for my coffee, and left promptly when my order was done. The mistake I made was trying to enter into a sentence worth of small talk with you. The eye-roll, the sigh, the holier-than-thou tone of your quick/terse response. Your co-barista gave me the sympathetic shoulder shrug as I walked out, even she could tell that you were being an overt jerk. I won't be back. Lame.

Best coffee and consistently the best. Top quality espresso shots pulled and milk frothed. This is my favorite place in Seattle/Georgetown

the coffee was okay, but probably won’t ever come back. the staff wasn’t very nice or welcoming. Living in Seattle myself this is definitely one of those hipster “Seattle freeze” spots. better coffee and people at Victrola not too far away.

Great baristas make great London Fogs.

Coffee is pretty good, not too acidic and no weird after taste that sometimes follows. Baristas act mildly annoyed at your mere presence but one of the best iced mochas I've had in awhile. Probably wont be back with so many other options and nothing really special about this one in particular but worth trying.

I’ve always liked this coffee. They roast it just right. Not too many choices either. A dark and a medium. And the dark isn’t that dark. I kind of got annoyed today because they charged $20 per pound of beans. Let me assure you, that’s the Seattle price which reflects extremely inflated prices of everything. I grew up in seattle lived there all my life until a few years ago made a move to much lower cost Boise ID. They have the SAME excellent roasted coffee using all the best beans and roasting techniques. $12:lb. So I’m feeling a little shafted on a trip to my hometown getting a $20 pound. But there is more to the story ! The quality is excellent ! And just out of curiosity I called Fonte, and Vita. Two local Seattle readers with the best quality. They are the same. $20 per pound. So it is what it is. No hard feelings.
