Absurdly delicious sandwiches. We put in a large takeout order a few days in advance and everything was prepared exactly how we wanted it and ready when we arrived. No complaints...only a recommendation to have a few more vegan options that aren't a salad. We'll be visiting here again!

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Roslyn. They have delicious coffee, food, treats, and a great play area for children where you can sit and eat while they entertain themselves right by you. They’re always friendly and the prices are reasonable. My favorite is the Glondo on gluten free bread, and their tomato basil soup is incredible!

Fantastic Monte Cristo and Reuben sandwiches! Outside seating on east side of building so not in hot sun; dog-friendly patio. Friendly service. Wait time was a little long but worth it!

Stopped here after a hike for some lunch and a beer. Loved the laid back vibes of this place, and the sandwich I had was bomb. Would love to eat here again next time I'm in Roslyn!

Not often you come across restaurants that have delicious, memorable, and consistent food. I have fallen in love with the Red Bird cuisine and atmosphere. I recommend the restaurant to all and especially to vegetarians and vegans passing by! I was able to talk to one of the staff and he mentioned that the staff likes working there and that they have a strong culture of cuisine and play! It is clear to me that the restaurant has soul. Truly recommend...We went back two days in a row.

This place is wonderful! The biscuits and muffins were particularly delicious. We sat and talked to the owner who is warm, hospitable, and everything you could want in a cafe/bakery.

Great food and staff! The Ruben is awesome and the Beet Ruben exceeded my expectations!

I am amazed that this place doesn't have more bad reviews...maybe it was just an off-day for the staff, but this situation should have been handled differently by the cafe. We ordered 3 sandwiches to go, and it took over 40 minutes to receive them even though the place wasn't packed. After 30 minutes they came out and told us they had run out of pastrami for one of the sandwiches and suggested replacing it with beets. We were already running late so we just said sure but feel that they should have offered to remove the sandwich from our order for the inconvenience of the wait. When we finally received our order we noticed the bread selections on two of the sandwiches was also wrong.
The sandwiches themselves still tasted fine but the wait time was ridiculous and we certainly would not have chosen to eat here if we had known ahead of time how long the wait would be. McDonald's would have been better.

The Red Bird Cafe is everything you could dream about for a small town coffee shop. Nestled in the heart of downtown Roslyn, you are greeted by the warmest, friendliest staff. I've been to dozens of coffee shops, and the barista knew how to steam the milk to velvety perfection. The food was absolutely divine. I highly recommend the breakfast sammy on a croissant. They had great options for vegans and meat eaters alike, not to mention scrumptious pastries. This place definitely feels like home and I cannot wait to return.

We had the eggs Benedict and mimosas with fresh orange juice. The employee helping us put the kids order in early so we could relax and eat when our food came out! Was a great way to have brunch. We will be back each time we visit
