Roslyn Cafe

Cute little cafe. It seemed like there was only one server, but she handled our large party and everyone else really well. The food was really good as well- I had a Banh Mi burger and it was great. The only thing keeping me from putting five stars is that the coffee was just okay, but I was still happy with the experience.

I had the most perfectly prepared piece of salmon of all time. Wonderful little cafe where the food is better than you'd expect.

Went there after a hike to have some food and a beer. Ordered Fried Chicken sandwich. I felt the chicken to be a little undercooked and hard to chew. We politely asked our server to see if the chicken is undercooked and if there is anything can be done about it. This triggered the cook, who kept eye balling me when the server brought the chicken back and took it upon himself to walk out of the kitchen to our table where we are sitting without masks and educating me how he cooked it at 180 degrees and its perfectly cooked and now its gonna take another 15-20 min to cook another one. That was so uncalled for and rude.
If you guys have a problem with taking back the food should have told it politely when we asked you politely to see if the chicken is undercooked.

The tomato soup was thick and very tasty. My dining partner ordered the fish and chips...well prepared battered fish with homemade fries. However, the portion size was VERY small for the price.

Under new ownership, no chance to evaluate yet, hence a neutral rating, left a review to let folks know there is new management, we have stopped here on our way to Spokane, always been awesome! If you prefer I will delete this, but that was the intent on posting, ( stopped by last Monday)

Cate & I had a wonderful lunch (Homemade Pappardelle w/ meat sauce & lovely lamb burger). Went to the kitchen to thank John & Mica and ended up gifted w/ killer tiramisu). BTW, we found 'em...ciao - Jeff & Cate

This was one of the Top Ten breakfast experiences of my LIFE. The atmosphere is absolutely charming, the staff was friendly, and the food was perfectly delicious, fresh, and made with love. I would drive all the way from Seattle just to eat breakfast here again.

Food and service excellent! We will be back!

1:45 on a Sunday, they were packed! That got me very excited. We had to wait about ten minutes to be seated. We were not in a rush so the wait was absolutely nothing. We were seated at a filthy table right by the front window. Which was a plus and a minus. Filthy table, gross. Window seat, neat. Food took forever, forty-five minutes and that is generous. Onion strips and fries were delicious and a hit with all four of us. My daughter liked her Cesar salad. My wife and son both had cheese burgers with mixed results. I liked the bacon blue burger. The bacon was thick. The bun and the melty blue cheese were fabulous! The bathroom seemed to be newly remodeled and was very clean. The one lady seemed to be providing most of the service. Be she owner or employee, she was not enough. The service was just not what I like. But 1 1/2 people shouldn't be asked to handle that entire dining area inside a and out. I will not be back due to the cleanliness of the rest of the restaurant. Our table never really got clean. The silverware we received was questionable. Two of the pieces had the already-been-used-but-not-washed look to them. There was garbage on the floor the entire time. The area by the door was very dirty. Under tables and booths seamed very dirty aIso. I am a very forgiving guy about a lot of things, but clean is just not negotiable with me. I think it could be better if you speed up the kitchen a bit, add a second dedicated server, and clean with attention to detail.

Poor service and mediocre food! Someone please teach these waitresses how to smile.

Update: attempted to order food here again (3 years after my initial review) still a ONE ⭐! No to go orders!? Really!? Just bizarre!
