I love the style of the menue, drinks and how convenient the menus are placed around the building since there are so many options to choose, I've gotten a new random drink and everytime it's been perfectly made in a pretty quick manner. The workers seem happy and relaxed, not Dutch Bros level of enthusiasm/conversationalism but most mornings that's much appreciated honestly. Will definitely be coming here for all my specialty drink needs š
Decent coffee. Kinda strange menu of flavor mixes. Expensive, but it is organic after all. The baristas donāt always mix the flavorings in so sometimes thereās a layer of syrup at the bottom of the cup. Sometimes they have pastries from regional bakeries, which is nice. Considering itās one of the few drive through coffee shops in town that isnāt Starbucksā¦ š¤·š¼āāļø
READ THIS! Good drinks. kinda expensive. Great choices though. Two problems: One if you have an order of 6 drinks or more, we had 6 exactly, and there is a mandatory 20% tip. The second; our total $35.49 and we gave them $41 and never got our change back, we got waved on and told to have a good day. Also not the friendliest staff.
The baristas always make great drinks and are very friendly. From basic drinks like a vanilla latte to my custom Gypsy Rush (see below) each one is always made just right! I have been here a lot and will keep going!
Huckleberry & Cream Rush! Seriously, try it. Blue or red Lotus with huckleberry, white chocolate and a generous splash of half & half.
Just think if it's a coffee spot, they should have drip coffee, just a thought. UPDATE 12-9 So now the staff has lied to the owner and said things that are false of me. I have spent way too much money at this establishment to be accused of stealing. I am done with this terrible place. Show me proof of these incidents, please!!!!!!! I won't be coming back to a place that lies about their customers! Show me the security footage please! At least now I get a much BETTER drink at a LOWER price at Thomas Hammer.
The baristas are nice, the owners are rad, the menu is unique, the prices are decent, the drink quality is beyond amazing, and the drinks are tasty! What more could you want?! I used to drink Starbucks until I found Dutch Bros. Then, I tried Gypsy Java and it beats both Starbucks and Dutch Bros.
Here's why; Starbucks, in my opinion, is watered down, expensive, not as tasty, and all about the snooty hype of "Starbies". Kind of like an LV purse with LV all over it (The Neverfull purse). We all know it's ugly but somehow it's what's being purchased because, well, a fad if you will.
Dutch Bros is awesome but sometimes their coffee tastes burnt to me, and many times the baristas aren't on the same page when it comes to me ordering a certain drink which results in the wrong drink completed being handed to me.
Gypsy Java, on the other hand, has so many drinks to choose from, it always tastes amazing, and they also cater to a keto menu!!
If you want quality at a decent price, Gypsy Java is your go-to. This is my two cents. Hope it helps!
Well, we've officially been cheating on Starbucks with Gypse, ever since we met and fell in love with Katherine (my sweet girl! She works soooo sooo hard) and Angie, (Girl, you know we love you). This very dedicated and loyal team of young college students literally BUST their butts for this coffee stand, I often ponder, "do the owners of this place really realize the value these young people contribute to their lifestyle???" I'm sure they don't! (So sad...) Business owners very rarely have a great concept of the blood, sweat, tears, energy, love, dedication and genuine connection these outstanding great young people GIVE of themselves for the customer. It's not just about a coffee, a lotus. It's about a relationship, a bond and a connection that we've been able to build with these sweet, hard working kids! We appreciate all of you! Jasmine, Savannah, Eric, Leilani--you guys are here DAILY, working hard through it all. Car accidents, snow, holidays, cold nights, bullies, mean bosses, etc. My family loves you all and try to love on you how we can. The little bit we've been able to do (Love baskets, goodies, pastries, etc.) will NEVER really let you know how much we really just adore you all. Keep working hard. You guys and all your hard work and ethics are building a foundation for the business world of the future. Keep doing it, even when you're not appreciated. We (the people) really see all that you do and we salute you! Hugs to you all.
Their scones and the Friday Fright Nights hot coffee was excellent. Only the Haunted Hollow Cold Brew coffee was false advertising on the pumpkin flavor. Didnt mention its pumpkin spice, just said pumpkin.
