Mean Bean Coffee

Forgot to stop at Easy Times today where I normally go for my drinks, but as I was in PT I went to Mean Bean Coffee to get my normal White Chocolate Iced Mocha. The staff were friendly which was nice. When it comes to my drink though, it is the weirdest tasting version of my drink that I have ever had, it was not quite full as you can see in the picture (I had not drank any before taking the photo), and to my surprise it did not come with whipped cream, nor was I asked if I wanted any cream.

This is a drive through coffee service similar to Starbucks. They make great coffee, great blended drinks, I love their fruit smoothies, and their hot cocoa too. If you have a pet in the car they give you a free treat for your pet. They also have a discount program, you get every 10th drink for free. Personally, I prefer this over Starbucks.

I'm a 24 oz, 4 shot star wars.

2 shots of white coffee
2 shots of regular
dark chocolate peppermint mocha.

... I get exactly what I order, delivered with a smile, every time.

... Sometimes every day, but at minimum, three times a week.

The service here is just going downhill. There used to be some friendlier employees but it’s so hard to find good people in Port Townsend. Really hard. It’s $0.50 extra to use your debit card for every purchase and these girls are so rude. It’s not worth it. I’m going to quit going here. I’ll just give my punch cards away. Mean Bean is too mean for my life.

Absolutely disgusted with the service that I received today, my 13 yr old was extremely indecisive about what to order and we were only at the window for about 30 seconds when the barista asked us to GET BACK IN LINE AND START OVER!!!!!!!! I will NEVER be going here again. I will be informing the owner of this experience as well 😡

They make a good coffee here. They also sell poppy seed muffins which are YUM. Sometimes the line can be a bit of a wait, so not great if your in a hurry.

The baristas are friendly and fast. They love to chat and there is a welcoming atmosphere. I love the coffee, blended or hot I'm always happy with my beverage. They also make a tasty oreo "smoothie" (it's a milkshake).

Even when the line for coffee is 4 cars deep, you're never waiting too long. That being said, if you're going during peak hours don't expect to drive right up. This place is super popular with the locals.

Friendly, happy girls work here and make tasty coffee. It's not the iciest frappe I've had, but the sweetness level and creaminess are perfect. :) One at which I wish I could be a regular!

When you get my drink wrong and I still tip, I do not expect an attitude from your staff when I ask for it to be remade. Millennial drama.

Super fast and friendly service here! I rarely order iced mochas because they are usually bland, but this is by far the best mocha I've ever had... Highly recommend!
