Best Italian sandwich. Best chowder. Best service. The old poor ranking are old, something must have changed because the were quite IMPRESSED!

Great sandwiches, high quality ingredients, friendly staff.
I would love to see soup if ever visited again.

Wonderful new restaurant in and old footprint. The salmon sandwich was superb. Seating is limited but you can eat al fresco if you planned ahead.

Fantastic vegetarian options in a town of vegetarian options. Sometimes you just want something filling and different when you're on a restricted diet; Lighthouse delivered in spades.

My family and I were out and about on a Tuesday and wanted pancakes. The Lighthouse was recommended by a shop owner across the street so we checked and the waiter/cook said they served breakfast.

The service was quick, the cost was reasonable, and the overall experience was good. It was rather akin to having lunch at a relatives house rather than at a restaurant as the atmosphere is rather austere, but not a bad experience overall.

My husband and I ran on to this little corner cafe about 12 years ago on New Years Day which is our anniversary.
The owners are friendly and very personable. The food is great and you get plenty of it.
Tom takes pride in his preparation of his food. When he is not busy he comes out and makes sure that his customers are happy.
We have spent every New Years Day for the last 12 years having breakfast at the Lighthouse Cafe.
We look forward to seeing both Tom and his wife next New Years day.

We had salads. They were not by any means sizeable. One chef & one Asian with grilled chicken & a glass of diet Pepsi that was never refilled. When we went to pay our bill was $30.00!!! We won't be back. Way overpriced for what those salads were.

5 stars for the breaky...pancakes were cooked to perfection, crispy on the edges and fluffy goodness on the inside. The cook was bustin it as the wait staff was late. The server seemed disgruntled but was pleasant enough and kept the coffee topped up. Yeah it was a bit dirty and rough looking - the decor needs a bit of work, but the eggcellently cooked breakfast made up for it.
