The corned beef hash and biscuit breakfast was perfect. My girls got the eggs Benedict and it had a nice slab of ham and the hollandaise sauce was home made. Also perfect. The staff was super friendly made us feel like friends. Highly recommended . It's a small place so let's keep it a secret.

Want a 5 star dining experience? Try the Blue Moose. Yep it's in the heart of a shipyard.... that adds an interesting charm. No frills, no attitudes, wonderful friendly service. We moved to WA from AZ and have been searching a place that gets green chilis, NOT Jalapenos nor green peppers... after 1 year of searching we found the place. Hatch Green Chilis, too. Even the WA Mexican places do not get it. They usually look at me and fumble for words.
Not here, the servers said yep fresh Hatch chilis. So, a small place in Port Townsend did.
I am a fan of huevos rancheros AZ style.... the Blue Moose was everything and more. Generous portion, smothered in Hatch green chilis. The corn beef is superb also... with enough for take away.
Parking can be challenging as it's packed at lunchtime with a blend of shipyard, locals and tourists. All looking for a great reasonable meal. If you are in Port Townsend, highly recommend them. They do take reservations and walk-ups.
The servers get it and are wonderful. Patience please leave your attitude somewhere else.

This place is great! Tge service and food quality make the difference here, folks. It's a little small which adds to its charm more than takes away. They only do breakfast and they do it very well.

You know this is the place for breakfast when the locals are lined up waiting for them to open! First day I had scrambled eggs, bacon and a big, fluffy pancake. Back today for the corned beef hash (not from a can). So good!

Excellent smoked salmon "Smokin Joe" and "bloody Mary's". Waitstaff was cordial. Place is small, so on a cloudy/ rainy day it can be a bit of a wait. Great kitschy place.

We had Breakfast burrito and French toast. Generous portions, friendly staff, and fun vibe. Bring some patience for the wait and for finding parking- it’s literally in a shipyard. We’d come back again any day for a delicious meal!

The "Smokin' Joe" scramble was perfectly delicious and the right portion size for breakfast. The surrounding dock yard and waterfront trail was great for exploring during the wait for a table to open up. The decorations also had the perfect local, dockside, ecclectic cafe' vibe. Lastly, the cheerful hostess/cashier had the perfect personality for her job, as well; I wish I had caught her name to be able to give her a shout-out for being wonderful!

Very pretty location! Decent food, lots of scrambles. Made from scratch Corned Beef Hash. The only down side is nothing seemed very seasoned if at all. The staff was really friendly though!

This little cafe is super cute and has entertainment decorations. It gave me a feeling of being in Alaska somewhere. The location is oddly located in a shipwreck yard- an industrial area and steps away from Larry Scott Trail - PNW Trail.
Pretty busy so expect to be on the waitlist if you are dining on the weekend.
Everyone was sweet and friendly but the service was slow. Guessing their kitchen is probably short on staff. The food can take a while to arrive.
I had veggie hash with chorizo and it was pretty delicious.
Also do not make the same mistake we did, the honey jar on the table is not honey. It's maple syrup.
Overall great experience.

It's a smaller restaurant with the majority of tables seating two. But the wait is acceptable, and once you get a taste of the food, it is definitely worth the wait. The staff is very friendly and pretty attentive. And I got some coffee while waiting outside. But I gotta say, I can't remember eating a better huevos rancheros. My daughter had a huge, fluffy pancake that made her smile, and my wife had the Sam Scramble. Absolutely excellent.
