Better Living Through Coffee

A lovely chai latte and muffin were had. Friendly, laid-back staff. Unfortunately, currently no indoor seating due to Covid, but if the weather allows, there is some very nice outdoor seating in a courtyard immediately adjacent. Beautiful setting right on Port Townsend Bay.

As a writer I invest a great deal of money into my favorite local coffee shop/s. As I spend a great deal of time in them. I have been looking for my go to local coffee shop for my day to day.

This location is central to town and near the water which is always a plus. It is definitely geared towards tourists though... which is a consideration if you're local.

The coffee was exceptional and very hot... but my large drink was half full and appeared to be what I would consider a small in comparison to most coffee shops. I didn't try any of the food.

The Cafe itself is quite lovely... although the energy didn't seem very friendly or relaxed. Although there were many people who seem to enjoy the atmosphere.

All around reminds me of Denver coffee shops... which isn't something I enjoy personally. If you like that vibe though, you'll definitely love this place.

Unfortunately this was a pass for me... but the coffee is definitely worth a try if you're visiting the area.

Salted caramel latte was the best coffee my husband has EVER tasted. No joke, it was pretty amazing. We had the GF tamales pie which was also tasty. View was great, almost as sunny as the staff working here. We’ll be back!

Very cute and very busy coffee spot right on the water. Staff was friendly, coffee was good. Clearly a local hangout!

Nice views, friendly staff, we ordered coffee and had a seat but didn’t hear our name called. We sat for quite awhile then when we checked to see if our order was ready it had sat so long the coffee was barely warm and the pretty cream design was all smeared and not pretty anymore. Anyway, wish someone had maybe said our name again instead of letting it just sit.

The spinach quiche was good. Salmon chowder couldn’t survive for a photo, so also very good.

Better Living Through Coffee is an amazing coffee shop in Port Townsend will great coffee and the shop has an amazing view because it is on the water. If you are looking for an awesome place to get coffee from a local coffee shop that makes great coffee, this is the place to go. Right next to the heart of downtown Port Townsend which is a really fun place to walk around and look at all the old building and really neat little ma and pa stores. We also purchased some great coffee from Better Living Coffee and it was incredible. I think a lot of locals prefer this coffee shop over the other major coffee chains based out of Washington State. I was up there meeting a new person for my job and really glad this place was the recommended meeting place.

Best espresso in town. Had one of their specialty lattes this morning. Very rich velvety crema. Plus the location is just perfect. Because of Covid you can't go inside but that was no problem as it was right on the water and the view is incredible. There was also a musician outside with us that added to the ambiance.

I also had a bagel and lox. Super tasty and fresh.

Rude staff experience that is not worth the $7 coffee. Without customers there is no business. Next time I come to town I will remember your business does not need my money. All 3 staff members made that clear to me. Thank you for welcoming me to Port Townsend for my first time and giving me an impression of your place.

Better Living Through Coffee was well reviewed and so we went there expecting to get a great cup of coffee. Alas, we were very disappointed. Very long wait on a not-very-busy Tuesday then compounded with errors made on the order. Flavorless and watery coffee. Lovely open seating area with water views. Will not be returning.
