The Owl's Nest coffee + pastries

If you can only choose one pastry make it the maple scone! But honestly there's no wrong choice. I've been here at least once a week since opening and will continue. Delicious pastries, that happen to be vegan and yummy drinks.

Update: lunch is served and it's delicious. The Oly salad is satisfying and everything I want in a lunch. The sandwiches are delicious and I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the new items.

I love coming here on the weekend with my husband. Everything on the menu is vegan and they have rotational breakfast goodies! All of their pastries are good and I always pick 3 or 4 out to snack on while running errands with my husband. We also love trying their seasonal drinks, and we love the care that goes into making them (our reusable mug gets preheated on a cold day before the drink goes in).

I was given this place as a suggestion for Vegan pastries, from a barista at another local coffee shop. The staff was immediately welcoming, friendly, and clearly passionate about the offerings here, and the owner even mentioned that they will be adding more foods in the future, such as sandwiches.

I had the Vegan/GF Pumpkin Muffin, which was delectable, and the Tomato Scallion Scone, also delicious!

Update (3/28/23)

I have since had their brewed coffee with Hemp milk, and I can confirm that it too is delicious! I have also tried more of the pastries since my initial review.

All pastries are both Vegan and Gluten free, which I confirmed during my visit on 3/27 with one of the owners. (Shelby)

Absolutely my favorite place to visit - I will always get my coffee or tea from The Owl's Nest if I am in the area - and now they are serving lunch! Had one of the sandwiches today and it was fabulous! All pastries and lunch items are plant based and I have never had anything I didn't love - same for friends and family. The owner and her team are also a joy to be around!

The atmosphere is lovely. The coffee is fantastic.

And my god every pastry, every single one, is the best pastry I've ever had. I'm so happy to live close by so my family can come in regularly.

Got a cold brew with oatmilk and a gluten free orange scone! I’m a barista myself so I appreciate a good brew and goly just the smell of this place made my mouth water! The scone was amazing and freshly baked, still warm when they handed it to me in the bag. Highly impressed and will return 😁

Love this place! The genuinely happy smiles and the warm atmosphere coupled with alllll the yumminess = the best way to start the day!

Such a cute little coffee shop! They had iced pumpkin muffins in March which was a very sweet surprise for my autumn soul. My boyfriend ordered a raspberry jam biscuit and a latte (both of which he thoroughly enjoyed) and I ordered an iced chai to go with my pumpkin muffin. Lovely food, drink, atmosphere, and staff. Seating was limited but we were able to snag a spot quickly. Browsers Bookstore is right across the street and the farmers market is only an 8-ish minute walk away! We will definitely be going back to try their seasonal drinks and other baked goodies:)

This is my favorite coffee shop for so many reasons. The coffee is always incredible (I usually go for a mocha with oat milk) and the chai latte is the perfect blend of sweet and spice. There is always something delicious just coming out of the oven so I like to pop in for a treat whenever I get the chance. I even ordered a bakers dozen of the pumpkin muffins for a recent holiday and they were a huge hit with my family. Definitely make this shop a priority next time you are downtown!

This place is a hidden gem!! The owner and people running it are really good to people, consistently. Plus, it's comfortable with delicious coffee and pastries and unique cookies. You can read a book or visit with friends in a comfortable place. Plus they support the community in more way than one!! Can't recommend this place enough, sincerely, test it out and see if you don't find yourself smiling or at least able to have a good time!
