The barista who helped me was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She welcomed me to the neighborhood as I just moved here from out of state and this is the closest coffee shop to home for me now. We had a great chat, and she made me the best dirty Chai latte I've had in a while! I typically make coffee at home but this is my new go to coffee shop for when I want to splurge! In the pictures I have a dirty spiced Chai latte made with oatmilk, a huckleberry cake pop, and a cheddar bagel with cream cheese.
Great people and great coffee!!! Unfortunately, I have to adjust my review... There has now been twice in the last couple of months that I've stopped here and no one has had masks on whole preparing the drinks or talking to the customers! I have them a second chance today, and as soon as I realized that, again, no one has a mask on, I drove away and went down the road to North Wild where the staff is always following state guidelines and safety protocols.
One of the only places I’ll ever get coffee or Italian sodas it’s the way they make em they taste better the. Almost every place that I’ve been and tried coffee and the service is amazing a few of em remember my drink without hesitation and I don’t go there all that often and my dogs love goin there lol
Handy location with plenty of parking. Has a drive through setup as well as interior seating in the associated 292 Brew House next door. Had great coffee and used wifi. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
Absolutely the best coffee stand in all of Washington, staff are extremely friendly.Don't bother trying to have them change their methods because your used to the other stands way. Your not perfect but they can be if you let them
Everyone who works here is super friendly, and all of their drinks are great! Feel free to walk up if you aren't driving, as they even have a little area to sit and enjoy your coffee
No Covid protocol, staff not wearing face coverings!! Coffee lovers beware and visitors from Spokane/other...be warned! This is a Covid spreading crisis in the making! I recently moved out to the 9 Mile area and was excited to check out Hot Toddy’s. As I got closer, I watched in shock as two young baristas without face coverings served customers. The person in front of me paid with cash and there was no extra sanitizing or cleanliness steps taken between that customer and me. I pulled forward and just kept driving without ordering. I took the time to call and speak to a manager about this. Get this - Management willfully allows this to go on. Management does not require the baristas to wear face coverings, even though the WA board of health requires all food service employees to wear face coverings. Take your business 1 block east to North Wild in front of Roseauers - their employees follow state health protocol (not to mention good old common sense) and they wear face coverings.
Before the pandemic, I do remember getting coffee here and I remember it being well-made, so they get 1 star instead of zero. However, I encourage everyone to boycott Hot Toddy’s until they start taking Covid seriously and take small steps to protect their customers. Your stupid opinions do NOT negate medical science and fact. If you are a dumb white trash hick who still believes that Covid, hospitals, and science in general are all hoaxes, this is the place for you. Just don’t ask for any medical help or sympathy when you or a loved one is drowning in lungs full of blood clots. We can do better than this, Nine Mile, and our baristas who ask for our support and make our coffee should be wearing face coverings while serving and sanitizing between every customer. Take your business elsewhere. They have been reported to the WA health board and will hopefully be seeing some serious fines in the near future. Thanks, Hot Toddy's, for making the pandemic more dangerous than it needs to be for everyone.
Excellent coffee! Excellent service! Victoria and Paige are the most lovable baristas! I always have a 4 shot decaf with hemp milk and a bit of half and half! Always delightful!
I love going to hot toddy’s, both Francis and suncrest location. But I have had the WORST experiences the last two trips to hot toddy’s at the suncrest location. On 6/11 two brunette baristas took my order and made my drinks , I ordered 4 24 oz drinks and there was something wrong with every single one of them, I got a 20 oz drink when I was charged for 24 oz, I ordered a drink with cantaloupe and got coconut instead the coconut flavor was so strong I couldn’t even drink the Red Bull. Today 6/13 we ordered 2 drinks, the same baristas were working and making our drinks as 6/11 we told the girl 3 different times to use sauce and not powder and still ended up with the drink being wrong. These two did not have good customer service skills what so ever and definitely need a lot of re training.
