Great food and really friendly service! The biscuits are HUGE and really good. I got the chicken fried steak breakfast and it was really good. Loved the gravy. Everything tasted home cooked. The people working were super friendly and place was nice enough inside. If you want a hearty breakfast this is the place to start the day.

Great portion sizes , friendly staff , and nice indoor and outdoor seating. Very welcoming staff serving home-style made-to-order fresh food and baked goodies. Seems great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The staff even got me an extension cord so I could charge my laptop and do some work. They have wifi. The only thing I would change is making more spaces for a coffee shop / work space vibe with plugs ! But thank you for serving our mountain community.

It was an experience, that's for sure. It's got a rustic feel, with head old photos of the logging town back in the day for wallpaper.
I ordered a cinnamon roll, corned beef hash, and a coffee. Here's where the experience begins. They have the menu on video screens by the counter. Then you order at the counter like it's a coffee shop. They take your name and you go find a place to sit down. When your food is ready, they call your name and you walk up and get your food yourself. (This would definitely not be ideal if you were trying to bring a family)
The food is served on paper plates, with plastic silverware. Basically they seem to just be trying to save on having to do dishes... Or really anything. You bus your own table, and everything is disposable, and they even have this nasty pitcher type thing for you to pour your unfinished drink in. They also have sings on the table asking you to clean, and sanitize it yourself.
Now for the food... The cinnamon roll was big, but wasn't that flavorful. And it was crunchy, not something I'm fond of with a cinnamon roll. It was alright, but not great. I didn't even finish it.
The corned beef hash was amazing though!it was big chunks of corned beef that was tender and juicy, and homestyle hash. It was all seasoned well. The downside was that it was on a paper plate that soaked up a lot of that delicious runny egg yoke. But otherwise it was one of the best corned beef hash that I've had.
The coffee was good, but being that it came in a paper cup, and that I would have to leave my meal, get up, walk to the counter, and ask for a refill (if they even do those, I didn't try so I don't know) I only had a single cup. And I'm a big coffee fan. Usually I drink a few cups with a meal like this.
So, if that cinnamon roll had been on par with the corned beef hash, then I would have given the food 5 stars and this place 4 stars. Even with the lack of service (I'm actually sorry I even tipped at this point, but it was at the beginning when you ordered) the food would have been good enough for 4 stars. And had the corned beef been on par with the cinnamon roll, I probably would have only gone with a single star. As it stands the corned beef hash was elevated enough for me to give it 3 stars. I will probably not be back again though. I'll look for someplace with actual service.

We arrived in Leavenworth and were waiting for our room to be ready but were really hungry so we looked up local places & found this one. It appealed to us because of the Texas BBQ. We're recent transplants from CA & were missing some good tri-tip or something close, so we chose this place. We mapped it & realized it was a little out of the area but still decided to go. To be clear, it's more up into the hills and than we realized BUT it was lightly snowing & it was a beautiful drive.
When we arrived the women who greeted us was very friendly. We put our order in & began to look around. It's a quaint little place that doubles as a ski rental place also. When our food arrrived, it looked & smelled amazing!! It did not disappoint! The brisket was tender and the biscuits were fluffy! The food was PHENOMENAL!!! Hands down, some of the best BBQ we've had and we've traveled extensively.
Shortly after beginning to eat, a ski rental customer came in to return ski's and asked what time they closed. They explained that on that day they had already closed! My husband & I looked at each other, threw as much food down as possible, & grabbed a to-go box. We apologized because we realized that when we walked in it was about 5 minutes to closing.
The kind women and young lady behind the counter were so nice and said it was not a problem at all. AND based on how nice they were, we NEVER would have known it unless the other customers had asked about closing times. We then tipped again, thanked them, wished them a Merry Christmas, & left.
We will be back and would tell others they have to try it because the food is fabulous and the service is even better 😊

While the atmosphere looks so cute and I love how they have information on the area. The food sadly was another story. Both my husband and daughter got sick 🤢 from the food. The people there talked like no customers were there and about costumes to their faces. We will not be going back sad to say. I wish I could say something good but having to deal with people being sick from the food is not good.
We tried the biscuits and gravy which I couldn't find the biscuits in and usually that's good but these biscuits hard as rocks.
The steak and fries was not what we thought and was way to chewy and would get stick in your throat.
The smokin' burger was thin and you couldn't taste the smoke in it.
They also forgot that I ordered a slice of dessert, so I had to go back up and they acted like I was bugging them. When getting the plate with dessert out the girl never washed her hand.

This restaurant is truly one of my favorites in the entire PNW for breakfast. The ambience, the food, the people, all top notch. My girlfriend got the corn beef hash two days in a row it was so yummy. Being a Texan myself I can vouch for the quality of their brisket, it’s honestly the best I’ve had on the whole west coast. Kim, the owner, is also a Texan and a lovely person which made the whole picture come together. If you don’t stop in, you’ll never know what you’re missing.

The best meal I have ever had! Great prices, friendly staff, and fast service. Everything is very fresh and they serve the best coffee! The brisket melts in your mouth. The biscuit and gravy was to die for!!!

HANDS DOWN THE BEST BREAKFAST PLACE! So good that we had to go back two mornings in a row! My husband ordered the Corned Beef Hash and he was beyond impressed! The sourdough bread was the cherry on top! I ordered the Texas Pork Burrito and I haven't had that amazing of a breakfast burrito in a long time! We also go the waffle with the house whipped cream, to die for! Last, the chai oat milk latte with lavender, DON'T sleep on that (no pun intended, delicious!) Service was phenomenal and very quick! If you are in town this is the place to eat at!

The food is delicious. We love that we can get good Texan BBQ this far north. The portions could be bigger or prices cheaper.
We understand that covid made things difficult and dishwashers are difficult to find, but the disposable tableware cheapens the experience.
Access to the restrooms is very awkward as is sharing the space with cross country ski rentals.

Cool little place. It was everything I hoped it would be.
