Good coffee, terrific service. This is a local spot at its best. The staff recognize their regulars and are very welcoming to everyone. A highlight of many of my mornings.

Breaks my heart to say anything bad about these guys. The staff is friendly and helpful and the place is very cozy. The coffee, though, needs help. Both of the whole bean coffees I bought were oily, over-roasted and bitter. It's not hard to find good coffee in this area. These guys need to up their game

Friends and coffee lovers, and fellow Amazonians. Please do not support this business. My friends were local roasters, but recently moved to Idaho, so, having to go on emergency access chest catheter dialysis for life 2 months ago, and continue to work after a few weeks off, I found this place near my treatment center, and where I live. I counted 26 times visiting there, on my cards.
I always had a pleasant experience with everyone there, except one person, who claimed to be the manager. On the way to dialysis one morning recently, I had pulled up to the window a few feet from it, and working night shift for 4 years at Amazon, and now having different schedules all week, for work, dialysis, medical appts, and coffee being one of the few drinks I can have still, I had forgotten to put on my mask.
The manager female, instantly barked to me to put on (your mask). I simply said, as I put on the mask, I think we are 6 feet away. To which she angrily replied, "if you're going to argue with me you can go somewhere else." I said "I'm not arguing, I just forgot to put it on." She then says, "You're still fighting with me, and I'm at high risk, so you can leave NOW!" I said, "I am too. I'm on dialysis for life." She said again - LEAVE NOW." So, I quietly left, hurt, and stunned over her behavior.
I called the owner and explained the story, and asked him to call me back, which he did not. Later, I stopped in at my regular time in the late afternoon on my way to work, and there was no problem. I went early a second time, yesterday, thinking she was having a bad day, and it was sorted out. She saw me driving up to the drive-through, and yelled, "You're not supposed to be here, leave!" She then repeated it again, and I was speechless. She then told me she called the owner and he "thought it was ridiculous", that I treated her so horribly(her words.) I guess she preemptively called the owner - Chuck Kennedy, I think, and told a much different story than the truth.
I guess he doesn't care to hear both sides of such a small matter. PLEASE do not support this guy and his manager. There are much better coffee options, and nicer people that work at them.
For the record, I never deleted his comment. They deleted my first post on their Facebook site. I called to reason, so he heard part of my story on a short voicemail twice, and didn't call back to actually speak with me. He heard another version, from his employee, who has way more at stake, and embellished the story, which he chose to believe. And then tried to make it appear that I didn't want to hear both sides. I already knew her side. This happens all the time. People lie in many ways, like embellishing the facts, saying I felt this way, with no objective evidence to back it up, or leave out parts they know will hurt their narrative (lies of omission) In actuality, Morghan, Chuck's manager, is the one who used profanity. I have no stake in this at all, other than a convenient, place to get a cold brew coffee. Shalom.
This guy that owns the mediocre coffee shop, kept harassing me. Even yesterday he messaged me on Facebook messenger, after I said, I'm done with this exchange. Then he deleted my review on their FB page, changed the settings so no one can create a post. And threatened to call the police on me if I step foot on his property. Ludicrous. He then blocked me from Facebook, but I took screen shots of his comments with my phone. I also see reviews on here of similar experiences with rude baristas, and mask chastisement. We get it, wearing masks helps prevent oral, and nasal infection, etc. Sometimes people forget things, like ones who worked 60 hours through the pandemic to fulfil items to your house. And then while doing this, my kidneys failed, and I'm now on emergency dialysis for life, and still went back to work, and this is the way they treated me over something so trivial.
Response to the owner Chuck Kennedy's response, he won't admit: this guy has lied and twisted the narrative over and over. What faith did I question? I don't know what you believe in?

Got an Americano via the drive thru and it was so incredibly hot and filled so high that it was spilling all over my cup holders in my car. Very frustrating to deal with that while driving; coffee was meh.

Very cozy nice and relaxed.

Friendly, reliable place for coffee and breakfast Sammie's. Nothing fancy, always tasty. I bought some coffee beans today so we will see how the home brew version goes!

A double shot in a 24oz mocha? Am I supposed to taste the coffee? For almost 6bucks...no matter how good the coffee may be, if all I taste is chocolate milk then I will pass.

The coffee was good. I cannot attest to the food. The staff was friendly and the options for roasted beans is broad. I would have liked to see roasted dates on the bags.
