Roots

A nice coffee hut near the center of town and close to Cape Disappointment State Park. I thought the service was very friendly and they where happy to answer any questions. My only complaint (from a non-coffee drinker) is their chai is very weak and watery. I recommend switching or adding ginger chai to their menu

While on a road trip we desperately needed some healthy food. Roots is an adorable little roadside stop that resembles a drive thru coffee house but with a few tables and chairs outside. We had the açaí granola bowl, an egg and turkey bacon sandwich and a fresh fruit smoothie and a 24 oz cappuccino. Everything was super high quality, fresh and delicious. Their espresso is superb and they pride themselves on making excellent drinks! They were also so cheerful and kind so it made our experience even nicer. If you love delicious food, swing by here!

Today during a rainy and windy time of the early afternoon, was my first time at roots (or as we peninsula dwellers call it - "normal").
I was greeted by a polite, cheerful, and quick moving young lady who took my order and got right to business. I believe she was single-handedly manning the joint. I had my doubts.
I shouldn't have....
The food was amazing. Fresh crisp lettuce, succulent veggies, ripe cherry tomatoes, and lightly (but perfectly) seasoned chicken. It was divine.
I only wish the proprietors of Roots the best, and I look forward to continuing my patronage of your wonderful (and delicious) food!

Best coffee stand ever. Always gets my order right and the employees are amazing people. They make you feel like you’ve been friends forever. Highly recommend!! :)

Found this place while searching to find an open restaurant for coffee. Took a wrong turn and found this little coffee shop. Very happy and helpful ladies...coffee and food were awesome. Sat out front on the little deck and enjoyed the morning. I would definitely recommend this place.

The food is excellent and simple. As far as I could tell the ingredients were fresh. Both their turkey sandwiches are awesome. If you are around this place give it a visit!

Absolutely fabulous!!! Rare to find good decaf. Delicious juice options too. Fantastic veggie sandwich hot and delicious breakfast sandwich on everything bagel. Will be back tomorrow!

What a gem! This was my 2nd time here. Great coffee and DELICIOUS breakfast sandwiches - hot, fresh and excellent menu options! This will be my go - to place whenever I’m in the area.

Amazing staff ! The sandwiches where great 👍😋 love the lavender lemonade. It's a must stop and try you'll be happy you did .

The turkey sandwiches were amazing. I ordered an Italian soda, which was stirred before I got it. Italian sodas should be presented layered for the beauty of the beverage.
