Ice cream is amazing :) they are a local company and have products named after fun things in the area. One of my favorite things about Winegars is that Tuesday is $1 scoop night and Friday's you can get $5 quarts of ice cream. I can't tell you how many times I've picked up a quart on my way to a party Friday night and it is always a crowd favorite.

I usually love going here but lately it seems to be hit or miss. If the person knows what they are doing the coffee is good and the milkshakes have a great consistency but otherwise the coffee tastes different every time even when I order the same thing and today when we spent 30 on milkshakes 3 of them were basically milk consistency. I think they put way too much milk. We asked them to remake it and it was just as milky. I know it's called a milkshake but they are not suppose to drink the same consistency as milk. The girls said it was because of how much that ice cream was used and I didn't really understand it doesn't matter what type of ice cream you use if you add the right amount if milk and ice cream mix rather then loading it with mostly milk.

I went there today at around 2:30pm on my way back to Seattle. First of all, the Employees were very friendly. The gentleman was very sweet and wished me a safe trip back home. But OMG when I tasted that Mocha! 😍🤤 BEST mocha I’ve had in a LONG time! Wow! Thanks guys! 💜

Wonderful customer service, my perfect study spot, and the best coffee in town. Somehow, every employee has a smile on their face and the noise level is literally always perfect for studying or blogging, or having a coffee date. And that ice cream... there aren't words.

I have been coming to this place for years. The staff is usually really good and the coffee is great. However today I got coffee they made it wrong. I had to go back and have them remake it. The coffee was so hot when they asked me to test it that I just said it was fine and drove off. I realized they had made it wrong again but was on my way to the hospital where my grandma was admitted last night. I called them and let them know what had happened, they informed me to just come back when I had the time and they would fix the issue. A few hours later I came back with a full cup of coffee that I did not drink. They then decided that because it was already replaced once that they were not going to do anything about it. I let them know that this was not ok. They told me to come back and then changed their minds. I would never have drove back a second time if I was not told to do so. Without cussing or screaming I let them know I was not leaving the drive through until they either fixed the coffee or refunded me. I left with a finally proper coffee. I pay 5-8 per coffee so it’s not like I’m getting a cheap two dollar coffee.

I told the guy I had to get back to my grandma at the hospital and didn’t have time to drive around and go park. I spend a lot of money here as well as pay for a lot of my friends drinks at this location.

Then instead of being told while there they had a an officer contact me and trespass me off of the property.

I should not be punished because I expect to get what I paid for. I did not drink the coffee and brought it back full to prove that what I was saying was not a lie. To be trespassed for this is not professional and just shows that they are not humble when it comes to correcting their mistakes.

Thankfully there are a lot of other locations such as kolletis coffee and udderly espresso in town that have white coffee and they do not get offended when asked to correct their mistakes. That is definitely not how I would run my own business or treat a customer who has been spending their money at my establishment for years.

Best Icecream in The West

My wife and I went there first time because we had heard that they are a big supporter of CWU atheletics program. It was a funny choice since it is right across the street from a Dairy Queen - one of our favorite establishments.

First thing we were impressed with was the wide selection of icecream flavors that they carry and with interesting names. My guess is that they have been named after friends and family.

If baskin and robbins has 33 flavors these guys have a sh%$ ton! My only regret is that for some reason they dont have a butter pecan flavor. But as my wife says - "you'll live".

What I was and have been impressed with is how creamy and tasty their icecream is. It is as perfect as you can get it without overdoing it.

I am not heavily into the sweets and normally I don't finish my icecream. But in this case I couldn't put the darn thing down. The creaminess, the flavor the perfect consistency...where do I stop?

Needless to say we come here every time we come here to visit our "student" we have to drop by Winegar's.

Winegar's always has fresh, locally made, ice cream in unique but approachable flavors. Staff is always friendly and willing to provide free tastes. Their product is so good you just want to order it all.

I love supporting local businesses. I have been coming to Winegar's for a little over a year now. However, today I left without placing the order because the girl who was taking my order was rude and unhelpful. She was more interested in telling me what I should order instead of placing my order. Plus her hygiene was subpar which is kind of gross when thinking about food handling. When I called to talk to the owner about my experience, the employee said that there is a review/complaint form online. They did not tell me how to access it nor did they give me a contact number. I hope this does not reflect poor management.

I’ve loved coming to Winegar’s since 2016 and it’s only gotten better since I’ve been in school here in Ellensburg. The employees are so friendly and they genuinely care about the customer’s needs! They’re also incredibly sweet to my husky whenever I bring her through the drive-thru which is awesome!
Keep up the good work! :)

I had a reason to visit Central Washington University, and stopped by here to get a lick of Ice Cream. I ordered the Salted Caramel, and was hooked. Since that visit, I'd go out of my way to find a reason to drive out to Ellensburg from the Seattle area to have a double-scoop cup of the Salted Caramel. I even have a rewards account with them now!
The staff are friendly, and happy to give you tasters.
