Whenever going to mt Baker for a hike or whatever we plan on a stop in for a bite and a drink at the Bakery. Normally the service and food and coffee are quality; regrettably yesterday was an exception on all three accounts. The service was passable and less than friendly. The food was inadequate (breakfast sausage sandwich and thai wrap). I know these items were pre-made and they tasted as such (not at all fresh). Amazingly even the iced latte was only okay. I’m assuming this was just an off day and they were too busy! Next visit will be better I’m fairly confident.

We stopped in for an ice cold local beer. Sat at a picnic table and enjoyed the weather.

Stayed a few days in Glacier for the hiking, and discovered this place just off the highway. Glad I did- great coffee and baking, perfect location for both pre and post hike. Thanks for making Glacier that much more enjoyable.

Please, do not go to this terrible place. I stopped by in the middle of the day and found the door locked so I walked around to see if there was another entrance I was supposed to use, and I thought maybe you're to order only at the window as some places are doing for fear, so I knocked at the order window and a guy came out and yelled at me "we are closed!" I said, "oh, I didn't see a closed sign and you have all these lights on outside in the middle of the day" (there were about 200 full sized light bulbs and spot lights on outside in the sunshine) "so I thought you must be open; maybe you should turn them off then." He yells at me "GO AWAY! GET OUT! LEAVE!" Thinking i didn't hear right I said "what was that?" and he repeated and added, "we're TRYING to work here! Now GET LOST!" Unbelievable. I obeyed his instructions and will not ever be returning. I would rather walk all the way to Maple Falls to get something.

The food is great, however, you can t sit inside, so that was a bit of a bad surprise when we arrived on a rainy day :-(

One of the best bakery place I have ever been! The coffe is great and so is the BlackBerry coffee cake. Yum! If I ever go back to Mt. Baker National forest again I'll definitely visit 5his place again!

A great coffee shop with a little hipster vibe. The food is the best part. Definitely try the maple bacon donut!

I have always heard great things about this place so I was really excited to stop in yesterday morning for the first time.
We were the only ones there. We went up to the window to browse the menu and weren’t greeted by anyone. I thought, okay it’s pretty early, I’m barely awake myself. I ordered a chai and was promptly cut off with “We’re out”. No apology, no other suggestions. I just ordered a London fog, and was asked if whole milk was okay. I said yes please and then a second later heard “is that okay or not?” In a really short tone. We tried ordering a breakfast burrito without eggs, and she just said “it’s already made.” (Which now reading reviews I see they have a small kitchen and high volume, that’s understandable) But honestly I was pretty taken aback by the service, I actually left in tears because I have social anxiety and the staff was just so unfriendly and the whole interaction just made it seem like we were a nuisance even though no one else was there. Pretty disappointed and unfortunately customer service is a big part of it for me, and I probably won’t return again
