I absolutely loved eating and hanging out here.

We were passing by this town and Acorn Saloon was the only place open past 8. We called at 8:10 asking if we can still come in for dinner and we were warmly welcomed.

The staff were super friendly and patient, offering us a taster of their local brew.

We got some sandwiches with soup and some gizzards with home-made horse radish sauce. The horse radish sauce was very tasty though I cried through eating it. I would buy a pint of that stuff if I could just bring it with me on the long road home.

Thanks so much, Acorn Saloon! For giving us late travelers such a great, warm place to take a rest and have a bite. God bless <3

This is a tavern so you must be 21 to enter and dine. They were very busy at 1115 am. Breakfast ends at 11. We had soup and sandwich and the chicken rice soup was very tasty. A little on the noisy side .

We've eaten here several times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Great food as long as the regular cook is there, otherwise not so great (only been there twice when it was not the regular cook). Service is inconsistent, although it's the same people. Sometimes when they are not even busy it takes forever to get a menu and beverage (we've waited 10 minutes plus). Sometimes when they are busy this happens right away! Sometimes the food sits too long waiting to go to the table or the waitress picks it up but stops to chat with someone on the way to the table so food is not always hot once received. Getting a refill on a cup of coffee is almost non existent and the cups are very small. Getting the check is consistently slow and usually you have to flag them down or go up to the counter. However, very cool bar and atmosphere! We usually wait months between visits because of these issues but only so many choices in a town this size.

Overall, a pretty relaxed atmosphere and decent food.
Then broasted chicken is spot on.
They really need to work on their nachos! Their nachos are convenient store quality at best.
Breakfast at the Acorn or pretty good.

Step up to the classic style of the 1903 bar and enjoy a great burger and your favorite drink! You better go for the beer-breaded fries for the win!

We've enjoyed this place over the years there menu choices need to be better represented. For example the drinks from the bar have more appeal than the menu options. Customers are all about presentation. I know this place can draw a bigger crowd if the show an effort!

This place has a lot of character. Fantastic art all over the walls. The food is delicious, and they have nice selection of cocktails. The Bloody Mary is scrumptious.

Should have had a 🍔!! great service but not so great food... BLT bread dipped in oil and fried, looks great but tastes horrible, use a mixture of butter and margarine as will be vastly more palatable..... will be a while before we try again

Ordered the French dip, awesome.
Biscuits and gravy were great,
Bloody Mary's great, only wish they has a pickle whiskey for those...lol

Decent food, good atmosphere and great service. Pull tabs were fun. Not many places have those anymore. Will go there again the next time in Colville.
