My favorite place for breakfast or lunch in Chehalis. Great coffee or expresso if you prefer, croissants, pastries, soup, fresh bread, salads and sandwiches. All delicious. And if you like quiche you will love theirs! You can order food ahead of time to go, buy fresh bread by the loaf and even fresh eggs when they're in stock. The girls that work here are friendly and welcoming.

Lunch date with my gorgeous wife here. She had roasted spring vegetable panini & I had a daily special roast beef/caramelized onion panini. Both were very delicious

Plenty of pastry to choose. The strawberry tart didn't have much filling but it was good. We ordered a bowl of soup to go but received a cup.

Amazing pastries prepared with care! Try anything and it will be fun. I've never tried a rum ball before, so I thought I'd give it a shot. The outside is a nice Chocolate shell. Inside is like mashed chocolate cake with rum in it. Lots of rum they also do this Icelandic thing called Vinábraud. It's like a moist danish, but it has a sweet almond paste filling and a dollop of creamy custard. If you're coming from out of town, it's totally worth stopping for. The inside shows a lot of historical character, and the folks working there seemed to be having a good time.

Love this place!! Their Reuben sandwiches are incredible and the atmosphere is very friendly and nostalgic. You won’t regret coming here!!!

I stop in here every time I drive up for the Chehalis Farmer's Market, (which is by far the best in the region), and I have to say -- I'm kind of glad it's an hour's drive away from me, or my posterior would be the size of a house. The almond croissants ruined me for any other bakery, and the paninis and sandwiches are divine. If you come up on market day, you can even order and then go wander -- your stuff'll be ready and waiting by the time you get done getting your local veggies on. I LOVE this place. Seriously.

What would be the reason for the lack of service? She brought my drink and later my quiche, but told me I had to go get my own utensils. Weird.
Good food. Nice location.

The rum ball was delish but honestly my sandwich was not that great and the gals working could be friendlier or at least smile i tipped but if the attitude was better i would of given more. Attitude is everything

I love their fresh baked goods, especially the Chehalis mint cookies. The ambiance is very small town cafe which is very cozy. The baristas craft a great latte.
