Extremely clean and homey setup. The staff were a joy to talk to and helped me decide what to get. Absolutely loved a higher end coffee experience found in Bonney Lake!

Wonderful family business! They greet you as soon as you walk in. All of their roasts are delicious and you can tell they love what they do. Their lattes beat any of the little stands as well.

Relaxing setting, beautiful live edge wood tables and excellent fresh roasted coffee

Really really great espresso and friendly service. The owner spent about 30 minutes talking to some curious local kids about espresso and the whole process of making coffee! They seem to really care about customers!

Local and family owned coffee shop that brews their own coffee and has locally made treats and snacks (some gluten and dairy free). Every time you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile and always feel welcome.

Delicious Cinnamon Vanilla Latte! Great interactions and conversations with the owners. Family ran business. Would come again, for sure.

I used to have to head to Bluebeard in Tacoma or Nomad in Wilkeson. Now I just go down the street for my top tier specialty coffee. Best in town by a mile

My new favorite spot. Drinks are perfectly balanced between sweet, but still able to taste the espresso. Would give another star if I could.

Lamppost has spoiled me on good coffee. My wife and I talk about how terrible other shops are when we're out and about and we always end up comparing them to Lamppost. It's a good warm place full of professionals who seem most concerned with making the best cup of coffee they can manage, and the best part of Lamppost is taking the beans home. If you the reader of this review haven't done that yet, take a bag of your favorite style home and throw that in your drip machine. You can get nearly the same cup at home and twice as convenient.
Tip for buying coffee beans: Lamppost tastes every roast (including limited blends and such) and they write the flavors on the bag. If you aren't sure which to buy, try reading the label on the bag and choose flavors you prefer. Chocolate notes will be a richer and somewhat more traditional cup, while fruity notes will be a wild and bright cup of coffee. I personally prefer the fruity coffees in the summer or on warm days because they seem more refreshing to me.

Lamppost Coffee Roasters has become my go to source for whole beans. My personal favorite being Deep Magic French Roast. Fantastic!
