Such a chill, great vibe in this place! Food tasted great, very fresh! Coffee and smoothie were delicious! Guy behind the counter was so personable and funny and made our experience amazing! Went to catch up with an old friend, so glad we stumbled upon this place! Will definitely return!

I have not lived by here in years and I still reminisce regularly about - and have to applaud - this place.

If I’m ever in the area again, aside from the Puerto Rican place, this is my VB jam.

Ask for it really spicy ROFL mmm, I love it! Know what you’re getting into tho, super happy back then to find a place that gleefully will do you up poke that’s got full bore honest heat if you ask for it. <3

I would like to start off by saying that I am a pretty frequent customer at zekes VB and the staff are very kind, but this is the second time i have called in a smoothie bowl and it has been soupy and melted right when i received it. It seems the quality of the bowls they have been serving has dropped overwhelmingly and after waiting an extra 20 minutes than i was told I was very very disappointed in the quality of my smoothie bowl.

Food was good.

Staff didn’t acknowledgment my presence for about 5 minutes. Girl behind the counter and passed by two wait staff several times. One table outside and just me waiting inside. Finally asked if she could help me, said swipe here, no conversation, no smile, answered the phone, and I just signed and left...

Customer service drives my rating today. I’ve lived 2 streets back for 2 years and it was my first time. I’m an easy regular when customer service is top notch :) will try again in a month or so and see if I have a different experience.

Sooo Good! Love the poke, best in VA Beach / Norfolk! There are a lot of gems on their menu. Really great vibes and fun location. I've been coming here and going back again and again for years!

Little hole in the wall with odds and ends for decor. Feels as if you're sitting in someone's garage but it's clean and comfy-ish. Don't let the aesthetics fool you though, the food is fresh, delish & filling! So yummy! I forgot to take a pic of the Cali Pita but it was huge and tasted absolutely amazing! It's a bit messy to eat so maybe don't order on a first date. I did not rate it 5 stars due to customer service. The staff did not appear happy or cheerful in any way, nor were they very attentive. I would highly recommend this eatery as a grab & go!

I came here to see if the "hype" was real on the loco moco. It was great; however, the customer service is lacking. If I known I had to grab my own menu and pay for my food with tip before I got my food, I would have left the minimum (being honest here). It was my first time here so I wanted to make a conversation but I guess that was too much to do. I also see people order online and it didn't make it (system kept crashing) so I'm glad I came inside to eat.
