It was a great experience with this fancy tea house. The ambiance is very fancy and the food was great! The price is very reasonable and delicious š

My daughter and I had a wonderful first experience today. I was worried the atmosphere and menu wouldn't be kid friendly for young ones but they were so accommodating and friendly! Our server helped me pick a tea and her reccomendation was spot on. The desserts were great too! Thank you for hosting a "tea party". We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately I did not get to have an experience at this establishment. I was told our wait would be 20-30 minutes. After 50 minutes we were told they could seat us separately or we could wait another few minutes for them to clean a table for us. Several other customers that came after us were seated and we were told they were still waiting on a table. We spoke with the manager and asked why we were told by the hostess it was only a few more minutes but there was no table available. She did not have an answer for us. We waited over an hour and never got seated. We left and took our business elsewhere. My family would like to give this place another chance. Iām not sure itās worth my time. They seemed unorganized and willing to seat groups of three that just walked in verses our group of seven that was told it would be a 30 minute wait. We waited over an hour and management didnāt seem to care.

I've been here a couple times and it has always been a lovely experience. I am not from the area but every time I am down here to visit Prince Tea House is on my must-visit list. We always get the tea for two, it is adorable and delicious. Great date spot!

The tea and food were great, our entire party loved it.
About 30 mins into our time, our waitress disappeared. The rest of the time we were there, we didnāt have anyone assigned to us. I had to flag other waiters/waitresses to get anything at the table. At the end the billing was also a bit of a mess as we received 2 bills each, one from each waiter/waitress who stepped up to help our table.

I took my granddaughter here for her birthday and we ended up leaving and going to another tea house in Virginia Beach where we had a lovely experience. Unfortunately, a group was allowed to come into Prince Tea House with an air compressor to blow up a big pile of balloons for their event. They were making some sort of balloon dress which was being created and assembled there in the dining area. It was extremely noisy between the compressor and the balloons which were occasionally popping, and ruining the experience for all of the other customers. Not the ambience we would expect in any restaurant, but going out for tea is meant to be a lovely and relaxing experience, which was definitely not being provided here. Hard āno thank-youā to Prince Tea House.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Super disappointed with my visit here. I was looking forward to trying out the teas. The server was extremely rude and started lecturing me when I had questions about the food on the menu. She told me to that maybe I should cook food at home or try a different restaurant and to go see a doctor. I was so taken aback by they way she was talking at me. All I did was ask questions about the allergens and inform the server of which we had because it said to do so on the menu.
On top of that, we ordered just teaā¦ and no napkins, sugar or stirring spoons were given. My husband had to stand up and ask for some. Spoons they gave were chipped. Needless to say, I wonāt be back or recommending this place. Thereās plenty of other tea places in Virginia Beach that are 100% better.

Very poor overall service. Lost 3 seperate reservations. Told several times about a deadly nut allergy and ignored and placed nut dishes all over the table and disregard lactose allergies. Moved a large group of 7 people to another table in the middle of their own meal to immediately accommodate a larger party with no reservation. Half of the food ordered never made it to the table; when we asked about the missing food, the manager became very rude and short and did nothing to remedy the situation. Paid top dollar for the absolute worst experience in food service.

The ambiance is lovely and cozy. We didn't try the tea, but the cake was delicious. Service was great.

Iām not sure why this location has such great reviews. We dined in at 1:30 on a Saturday. They took our name for the waitlist (there was no wait) lost our information and eventually seated all 5 of us at a booth for 4. The tea was delicious both hot and cold. 3 of us did the afternoon tea. The biscuits were hot but overly sweet; like crunching on sugar. The finger sandwiches were old. The tuna smelled horrible and I stopped eating the sandwiches. My son wasnāt so lucky and spent the afternoon sick. The macaroons were old and chewy and the tarts were tasteless. 2 other in our party ordered sandwiches. They were below average. The salad looked fresh. All the food and tea came out at different times. We had to ask for my husbands drink and food which they forgot to bring. The staff was friendly but seemed lost. The one dessert from the menu we ordered was good and had a nice presentation. We wonāt be going back.
