I've been coming here for the last few years. And really enjoy their store. Always willing to help and answer and questions I have. The employees and owner are always friendly and value their customers. Great local card store for buying selling and playing magic. Hope to see you there and let's turn some things sideways.

This store has a great community of repeat customers who get together regularly to play. The meta is primarily EDH at around a 75% level but quite a few modern players as well. Definitely worth checking out.

Came in to look at some magic cards and the guy that was working was playing at some tables and didn't want to be bothered by customers so he got up from his game, walked around the center display and unplugged the internet cable so I couldn't search through the computer system for cards

Been there twice. The first time was a decent experience. The guy working the counter was pleasant enough, but he seemed kind of annoyed I didn’t know what the prices were on Modern boosters, when they weren’t labeled at all. Got my stuff, and left, no issue.

The second and last time I went, it was a total nightmare, and in line with what a lot of the reviews are saying. The guy working the counter (different guy) was just an oddly arrogant jerk to me for asking some simple questions (relatively new to Magic and was asking about a couple sets). The sealed product is plentiful and well stocked and varied, but man, the prices seem a bit high, even by eBay standards and the like. I’ll stick with some of the other stores in the area unless I desperately need a draft box of some older set.

Went in to the store yesterday with my wife. I was interested in buying some of the new Forgotten Realms Magic the Gathering cards. The guy behind the counter was friendly, and he answered all of our questions. He gave us some free land cards to go with our booster packs. I will definitely go back to purchase more cards in the future.

I’ve played in events and have shopped at Kaboom multiple times over the past few years. My first time in the store was to attend an FNM. The staff decided to take a vote on which format to play instead of hosting the format listed on their calendar. I didn’t have a deck for the impromptu format change, resulting in a pretty disappointing first impression.

Wanting to give the store a second chance, I had looked up their inventory online and decided to go and buy some singles. Prices in store were a higher price than their online inventory and they refused to honor the online price while I was in store. Sealed prices have been reasonable, and I will shop at Kaboom for products that I can’t find at any of the other local stores rather than shopping at big box/online retailers.

Overall I can’t recommend this store over others in the area. Charging higher prices in-store felt disingenuous to me as a customer when a random online purchaser gets a better deal than people in the local community.

The shop is fairly small but they have a decent selection of sealed product. The down side is the price of said sealed product. Price overall is a bit high.

I don't mind paying a little more than online prices to support local shops but I can't afford an extra $30-50 for a booster box.

While they have a decent selection of singles, once I made the purchase, I asked for a paper receipt, and the older man behind the counter snapped back that they "don't do" paper receipts. He could have definitely responded with a more customer service appropriate attitude/tone. Next time I'll just wait for Robert, because whoever was behind the counter on Sunday needs to be trained on how to work with the public... they obviously lack the qualifications to do so. Thank you for proving my point about rude customer service (I've spent money at your establishment three times in the last month) with the "response from owner", and please learn the difference between your & you're Welcome to a one star review. Plenty of better places to spend my money... you don't have to ban me... I'm never coming back.

Kaboom has a chill atmosphere and helpful employees (Rob and Matt are not only polite but will talk strategy and deck building advice with you). There are commander leagues on Tuesday nights (1 round) and often on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons. Additionally there are casual commander games to be played throughout the week. If you love commander then come to Kaboom!
