I've been to the Grind several times and there are many reasons I keep coming back: the people are friendly and know your name, the atmosphere is great (as is the wifi!) and there is a variety of food and coffee (delicious, delicious coffee) to chose from.
But the thing that always sticks with me is that there is always something new. The other day, I checked out the zucchini bread they just introduced on the menu.
Considering that I have never heard of such of thing, I hesitated to try it. But the bread looked appetizing. And having experienced their other tasty items in the past, I trusted their judgement.
Boy, am I glad tried it out! The bread's soft melt in your mouth texture, jived well it's buttery cinnamon taste. Chalk another win for the Daily Grind and chalk up another new reason to come back!
On the two occasions I went there I had bad service and expensive coffee that was mediocre. One thing that drives me crazy is when somebody who is about to take your order doesn't even speak to you, or even look at you. They just stop what they're doing and look down, and then after a few seconds look up and stare blankly at you (still without saying a word). Were you taking my order or were you writing something down unrelated to me? Maybe if you greeted me when I got up to the counter there wouldn't be this confusion. Their coffee was also way overpriced.
Decided to read through the reviews to see if I just went at a bad time - but no Customer Service was a problem. I went in today (NOT at any rush hour) 10:30 am and tried to order an Oatmeal Bowl. The person said it would be a 20 minute wait because she was the only person working today. I decided just to get a cup of coffee - walked over to the coffee bar and the workers (who had no customers) were busy in their own conversation. Left without a purchase and i won't be back.
Wonderful service, beautiful location, and delicious coffee and breakfast wrap! I was greeted with a smile and excellent personalities and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of relaxing music and pleasant people. The Daily Grind is a great place!
This used to be a good venue to visit but their attention to detail has started to slip over time. Burned out bulbs are left unfixed, the thermostat is usually set too high and the various coffee-bar accessories went unordered. Milk & cream are left in uninsulated and unchilled containers and bake in the afternoon sun. The food is ready-made from Sam's Club and the only baked goods made on premises are the cupcakes (which comes from a Sam's Club mix).
Awful! Everytime I come they mess up either my drink, food, or both. The lady is rude and does not know how to make a latte. I really want to like it because the area is awesome and the atmosphere of the place is relaxing. Never coming back.
The coffee here is OK but the establishment needs some serious Customer Service 101 classes. Start by actually greeting your customers. Doesn't take much to say "Good morning" or "What can I get for you today? "Acknowledging your customer would go a long way.
The staff and patrons are all energetic and positive. Great barista's and delicious food. And they welcome dogs which always makes for fun conversations.

Good vibe/appearance, but excellent coffee! Every kind of unique coffee I've tried there (or tea) have been amazing. Highly recommended!

All the girls that work here are the sweetest! I go in at least 3 times a week for my coffee. Great place, great vibes. Highly recommended.
