Busy little shop with a chill staff and counter culture coffee. The closest thing to' third wave' coffee in Smithfield/Newport News. I enjoyed their breakfast sandwich with the Chipotle mayo, good stuff! I'd highly recommend coming here over Starbucks/Duncan. Although a bit more expensive it's worth supporting local businesses. Not to mention counter culture roasters are renowned for sustainability practices and treating farmers right. Go here. Try something new.

As someone who has been in the coffee industry for nearly a decade, this place has wonderful drinks! My go to is typically the Churro but anything I’ve had was great. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because sometimes the staff isn’t super inviting, but the atmosphere is good!

The coffee was delicious. I tried their churro Coffey and my wife had I believe their lavender coffee and both were amazing. They also make beautiful latte art. So good in fact I had to take a picture.

Love this place. Quaint establishment, friendly staff, GREAT owners, DELICIOUS coffee and food and other drinks. Update 2/23 - same great place. Love the pastrami Reuben. The dirty chai tea latte is amazing. Enjoy having a nice friendly staff who look at you when they talk to you.

Love this place! I don’t live in Smithfield anymore but when I do come home, their lavender latte and avocado toast is AMAZING. The staff is always friendly and prices are overall pretty good! (Compared to DC) my husband and I will be back!
