Meh. The coffee is pretty good, here's my beef.
This coffee shop is STILL using styrofoam, and even if one requests to use a normal mug. This is true even though you're drinking in house. A cappuccino just isn't as good out of a disposable cup. COVID-19 is spread through AEROSOL transmission, not surfaces. The dishwasher you have will kill it no problem. My 2¢.
The service was also a bit disinterested. I get it. You make minimum wage on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Consider an edible before work, folks.

Locals obviously know that this is a great coffee shop. We were glad to find it just a few minutes from I-81. Excellent coffee (they are happy to do a cortado even though it isn’t on the menu). Excellent sandwiches (try their grilled cheese with twist if you like your guacamole spicy). Excellent service.

Quint little coffee shop in downtown Salem. Worth a stop for breakfast. Basic breakfast (bacon, eggs and hashbrowns) or sumptuous sweets. Delicious coffee. Try the Salem Motor Lodge blend! Mild and smooth. Friendly polite and fast service. *TRY THE HASBROWNS!!*

I love Mill Mountain Coffee and Tea! The staff is friendly and willing to tweak the specialty drinks to your liking. The food is also very good and seasoned well. They have a delicious selection of muffins too. I will return to Mill Mountain Salem location again and again!

Great coffee and a spacious building so you can have a conversation without talking over someone at a nearby table (in fact the tables were more than 6 feet apart for social distancing). Right across from the public library so you can get a book and coffee all together. Breakfast options were limited on the day I visited but they were tasty.
