Java Blend Cafe

The coffee was delicious and the service was wonderful.

My family and I were traveling and missed the starbucks exit in Wytheville, and stumbled upon this delightful little Amish coffee shop. They have a great salad bar (my daughter said it was the best raspberry vinaigrette she had ever had) espresso, smoothies and pastries. It's not gluten free friendly except smoothies and chips, but my family really enjoyed our reasonably priced items. We also appreciated the friendly staff, since we came right before closing on a Monday. We know that's annoying, so thanks for being kind. ♡♡♡Definitely check this out if you are on I-81.

What a wonderful respite on a long road trip. We happened to pull off the road to get gas and stumbled across the Java Blend Cafe. We stopped for lunch and everything was so good we decided to stay for coffee and pastries. If you happen to passing through or live in the area I can't recommend it enough. Food and service was excellent.

Friendly place to stop for a cup of coffee or a bite to eat! Lots of options for coffee and a really excellent House blend.

Food is hearty and well priced. Will be back for more and to try the delicacies in their bakery case.

Great spot for a quick stop off I-81. Friendly staff and fresh coffee. The pastries and salad bar looked delish but sadly we had just eaten lunch so didn’t get to try them. Definitely planning a stop next time we are road tripping.

Always delicious! Coffee is fresh and flavor is amazing. Specialty drinks are yummy! Doughnuts on Fridays are huge!

What a treat! Clean. Great coffee, smoothies, breakfast and sandwiches. The bread is homemade and the combinations are creative. The staff members are sweet, patient, and make great suggestions. Go and indulge with a muffin and latte!

if you're in or near Rural Retreat this is an Eatery you don't want to miss! The facility is extremely clean, the food is beautifully prepared and most tasty! Prices are very reasonable and if you haven't tried one of the Fried Pies, then you're really missing out! Absolutely five star All The Way!!!

Lovely little cafe! Fantastic friendly staff. I love the calm friendly atmosphere of the place. Also first rate coffee and drinks. And good food to go with it! Definitely a good stop just of 81 if you're coming through.
