The first time I came here I ordered a breakfast sandwich with no bread because they didn’t have anything gluten-free in stock and it was still so delicious! Today I went back to order a latte, and there was someone in the coffee shop who ordered after six other people yelling at the staff and demanding that they make his drink first. The staff held their composure, were kind and accommodating to all of the customers and did an amazing job handling a rude customer while taking care of their other customers beautifully.

I’ve been going to this place for 3 years now and I love it. This is my first time trying the vegan breakfast sandwich, “The Vibe”, and I’m in love. So filling, tasty and seasoned 👀. New obsession. Thanks!

Delicious food! Ordered from here twice. Got their vegan breakfast sandwich and their vegan club sandwich. Both were super tasty! Highly recommend.

This is my 3rd or 4th visit, and I loved it just as much as my first visit. The staff is amazing. The food was delicious. Had lox on an everything bagel, and ate the entire thing before I realized I didn't take a pic (sorry!). And the Richmond Blend Tea was a fall lover's dream! (Its me...I'm a fall lover). I will definitely be frequenting this spot more often now that I work downtown.

This place is FABULOUS! Our company used them for catering on our film shoot, and they were so professional and punctual. The coffee in the morning and lunch, were both incredible and delicious. They really took the time to make sure our cast and crew was taken care of, and no one left feeling hungry. They went the extra mile and I'd suggest everyone use their catering; we definitely will be again.

Get out of any long coffee line you're in and RUN over to this fabulous place. Kind, fun, artistic, inclusive, effective staff with the BEST coffee and light bites. UHS represents the best of what Richmond (and the USA) can and should be.

Great space inside and great coffee from another RVA favorite, Lamplighter. Come in for a quick espresso and pastry or stay for some classic breakfast or lunch items. Definitely Richmond through and through. Also, they're open on the weekends and in the evening, unlike other coffee spots in the city.
