Really fun place. Would love to hang out here more. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the music was distractingly loud.

My family and I live in Chesterfield, and we have been in your restaurant many times, with good service and food. This time was a disappointment. While waiting to order, not none of the employees made eye contact. We were only greeted by the cashier when we ordered. There were four employees behind the counter and only one other customer in front of us. There were plenty of tables available; it was not a busy morning. After picking up our food, we noticed that what we have ordered in the past had changed and was not the same presentation. The food was OK, but eggs were a faded color of yellow with under cooked bacon and toast served without butter (I had to ask for butter). Your coffee is outstanding, but my second cup was full of coffee grounds, so I had to wait for more coffee to be brewed. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but they had no sense of urgency, and customer service was lacking. Time for some retraining!

Food is great, though a little pricey (but to be expected). Had the ham biscuit and it was amazing. Good salt cured pork and home made biscuit. The waffle my daughter had was delicious! The bagels were huge and tasty and the coffee was great. The staff was friendly, service was prompt and the restaurant was clean!

Too yuppie for me. Otherwise nice place with nice staff.

Awesome coffee and tea! Friendly waitstaff that is more than happy to help with suggestions. Eclectic atmosphere that makes you feel comfy. Offers bagels, muffins, and cookies. Has an outdoor patio seating option as well.

Not a bad hipster coffee place. Staff members was nice and venue had a comfy feeling.

Beautiful space, very COVID- safe, lovely outdoor seating, and excellent drinks. Highly recommend!

I'll start off by saying the coffee drink was spectacular. If that was all I got, it would be five stars. I got the bacon and eggs with toast, and tried to get a half portion of oatmeal for my toddler. The food was decent, but the bacon was really greasy. I was also told that they couldn't adjust pricing for a half portion of oatmeal, but they could give me a half bowl at the full price. Really? So I got the full bowl and wasted what we couldn't finish. With the touch screen technology and experience as a server, I find it hard to believe you couldn't just tap an item and mark it half off. There's a way if you really want. I might go back for coffee, but not the food.
UPDATE: Brooke, the GM, communicated directly with me after our experience in hopes of earning our business again. I appreciate her integrity and willingness to reach out. We will gladly give DC another shot. Thanks Brooke!

I'm a big Starbucks guy. So much so that I even worked part-time there for a few months a few years ago. Primarily for the beverage discounts and free pound of coffee each payday. But that being said, it's really just because like a McDonald's, when you're traveling in unfamiliar areas like I do with work. You really just crave consistency.
But, occasionally you find a spot that takes it a step further, in the way that's brave, but has a feel and a mix of personalities on the staff that combine for a MORE than "pleasant and professional atmosphere and cup of coffee". It's just what you'd want for your own local coffee joint. And I haven't been there for a couple of years, but I've continued to hear good things. I'm actually planning to be in the area before Xmas and probably around Xmas, so I'll be sure to stop in and get some pictures and revised review commentary.
Bottom Line: If you're in the area, you can't do better than a quick muffin or other treat depending on the time you visit, and a piping hot latte or cappuccino of your liking at Demolition Coffee, in the town where I was born ❤️🎂🎉, good Ole Petersburg, Va. 👍🏾

Super cool environment in historical brick building. Coffee was delightful and service was friendly. Prices a bit steep, but I’d rather pay that here than at a chain. Star dock for breakfast - little options and eggs tasted like frozen cafeteria food. Come for the coffee and atmosphere, bring your own snack or meal. Plenty of parking a plus.
