Great food and service with new twists on their dishes. Love that it show cases local artists. The selection of mimosas is impressive... the pear peach was amazing!

So I just spent 5 minutes reading reviews they were all raving about how good this place was. I had to double check that I ate at the right place. I don’t think this place was good at all.
FOOD: I ordered the eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked to a medium almost boiled consistency. That wasn’t just me but two other people at my table as well. The English muffin was i think just warmed in a microwave. The restaurant has gone down in quality i think by just looking at what people have taken pictures of in there.
My wife ordered the Joan Miro which claimed to be sautéed zucchini and other veggies in a wrap but the veggies were cold and uncooked and the avocado was rubbery and not even ripe enough to chew. Also our glasses smelled like dirty wet mop and were hard to drink out of. It was not a pleasant eating experience.
WAIT STAFF: our waitress mess up on a lot of the drinks. We asked for fairly simple things and she just forgot them and brought out about half of what we requested.

Ms. Pat was so wonderful on the phone. She gave me (a picky vegan) the ingredients in one of the menu items tm make sure we didnt hane any allergic reactions. THANK YOU MS. PAT! See you soon. Excellent phone service. (-; <3

This is the worst experience I have had at a restaurant in years. Food is fine but the service was atrocious. We ordered and waited for almost an hour before the waitress told us that they had accidentally not put in our order to the system. Then they said they would move up our order to the top of the list for priority, yet we waited another half hour as plates of food continually came out to other tables. Then when we asked for the food to go since we no longer had time to eat, they told us they were putting the food together and it still took an unacceptable amount of time to actually give us the food (and in the meantime since we thought the food was coming out soon, they took our cards and charged us so we couldn’t walk out). I wanted to bash my head against the table the experience was so frustrating and felt hoodwinked into staying.

Lovely staff, very friendly. The menu was small which makes your choices easier. Food was fantastic as well as the coffee. Would dine here again

This morning was my first time visiting Starving Artist Cafe. I don't normally write reviews. However, I was WOW'd by the atmosphere, acknowledged as I walked in the door, and fortunately, a table was available, so I sat down quickly. Cristie was quick with her service, and very friendly. I also was honored to meet the owner Kim, her customer service, is over the top.
Oh, and the food, fantastic, I consider myself a simple person, but I had the French Scramble, except I substituted the scrambled for over-easy eggs. English muffin, 2 strips of bacon, and their house hot sauce is delicious too.
I'll definitely be back, I highly recommend :)

Went today because I heard great the food was and it was so good! I can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu and drinks! Beautiful art and great atmosphere! The staff was friendly too!!!

Horrible service, I try not to assume the worse of places. I watched at least 10 people get seated ahead of me. I am African American and they were all cacausion. I did keep and mind that they might have called ahead. But I heard her and none of them called ahead.

The food is fine, but not worth it. The service is super slow and 9 out of 10 times my order is missing items or just wrong (I order on Doordash and end up waiting almost 2 hours to not get my latte, which is $5 PLUS an extra $2 if I want flavor). Starving is right, I'm giving up. This is why chains like Starbucks and Panera are taking over.
