Busy college area coffee shop. Prices are reasonable for very good coffee and fruit drinks. A limited menu that is simple and priced fairly. Lots of different seating areas convenient for small groups of friends to individuals to gather.

Had a lovely sit down breakfast, I had the Monarch Way.
Glad husband was with me because I needed to share it.
The cafe is clean and bright, staff was über friendly and charming.

I would stop here again if I was in the area.

Great local coffee. Also great beer and environment. Wifi, board games, good food. A bit pricey. The manager is hot :D
Shout out to Mark! xD

Food was amazing but creepy trans waiter/cashier kept staring at my girlfriend 😬

Nice place with good vibes and good food. Closed 2 hours earlier than the sign on the door said :/.

Food is a bit bland, especially the vegan and vegetarian options. Not enough vegan options to begin with. There are paninis on the menu, but none with jackfruit or seitan or red beans or some other meat substitute. Disappointing, because I otherwise love the ambience of this coffeehouse.

Appreciated you reaching out about gift card situation. Did not realize the store had been closed for whatever reason. Will be returning today October 6th to pick up some gift cards.Didn't have gift cards...which are always a hit when making presentations with the ODU CCM...maybe next time

I haven't been here in over a year, and the last time I was here was for a job interview that I didn't get (sad I know, but that's life). I didn't really get to try much of the menu back then and I haven't had the opportunity to come back since.
First, I'm glad I came after 5pm this time because I was able to find parking right in front of the shop (luckily because it got full by the time I left) so there's the /little/ window of opportunity for you to find front row parking.
Second, their Mocha Java milkshake is SO THICK and yet SO GOOD that you really shouldn't drink it on a full stomach. Don't do that or you'll feel full really fast. It's so good and I'll definitely have to try their other milkshakes and iced drinks on the menu.
Third, the baristas are so sweet and helpful and fun to talk with. They know how to do their jobs, and are so professional and make you feel like you want to come back. I appreciate that and that's one of the main factors in me frequenting a business. So major kudos for that. The space is big enough that you can accommodate a group meeting like there was today, and yet still cozy enough that you don't feel like you're being drowned out in the din of noise.
I like that they are open until 7pm, and not that far from my work, so the next time I want to get some work done in between commuting home, I'll definitely make my way down there for some work and drinks. Go check it out if you haven't already! And they are partners with Taste I believe? And I love Taste so that's another bonus.

The staff is ALWAYS nice. I don't like the taste of coffee but they're always helping me figure out what might taste good to me - and I've never had a bad drink from them. The atmosphere is very open and welcoming, too. I highly recommend!
