Cure Coffeehouse

Good coffee and food options with pleasant ambience right next to the city center fountains. My only complaint is they have some light fixtures behind their ceiling fans so if you're sensitive to flickering lights it can be a bit much depending on where you sit.

This is a new Cure Coffee location in City Center. My lox everything bagel was great, and the design of the shop is simple, yet clean and spacious. This is a great place to meet with friends and/or family or to do some homework/online work. I'm definitely going to be back for more coffee and food. This is a great addition to Newport News.

This shop took over the old Aroma's location and I think it looks great. Super clean and modern aesthetic. Very fitting for City Center. The food and drinks have been very tasty - my favorite order is the beetroot latte.

Absolute awesome coffee house. Friendly staff and great food. Had the Lox & Cream on an everything bagel and I had the Morning Cure, both of which were great. My wife had a decaf cappuccino and I had the candied orange mocha latte. My latte wasn't overly sweet, which is exactly how I like it. The cafe is new so I'm excited to see how it looks once they settle in a bit. Happy to have a cafe back in this location, especially Cure. Thanks and will be back!

Cure is amazing! Incredibly tasty coffee, friendly staff, great space and atmosphere to work, hang out, make new friends :)

Best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. And the lox and cream bagel is decadent. Great coffee, too, with a creative seasonal menu. A gem of a shop.

We had cappuccino and caffe latte plus avocado toast and an bagel for breakfast . Good quality, very tasty food and coffee, very friendly staff.
One hint for improvement: the interior/atmosphere in the cafe could be made more attractive so it‘d be more inviting to stay longer

Definitely a specialty coffee house.
Counter Culture coffee and training/technique, so you can count on well pulled shots and artfully crafted drinks.

However….

$1.50 for 2 ounces of almond milk in a Cortado is bat $hit crazy. Especially when you can buy a 1/2 gallon of Almond Milk at Wegman’s for $1.56. No charge for cow’s milk though, which costs 2x at any store.

So a 4 ounce Cortado with Almond Milk is $7?

I would have loved to return to this establishment, but they need to address their pricing problem.

The elasticity has exceeded demand in this case.

Staff is friendly.
Space is comfortable and inviting.
Great location and convenient.

They had a fantastic rosemary and turkey sandwich and their staff working were really nice and had no issues at all. Coffee was good.
