We went to get coffee and ended up leaving with two sausage biscuit, coffee, and a whale fossil. The ladies in the front were so nice and sweet and the sausage biscuits were amazing!

A must stop for breakfast, lunch, sweet treats and a great atmosphere when in the Northern Neck.

Montross is not a big place, but The Art of Coffee coffee shop and art gallery may just be the friendliest little place in town. Fun to see and stop every time one passes along Kings Highway -- it is directly across from the Coca-Cola mural and bottling building. It's a noted stop along the Northern Neck Artisan Trail, "where water surrounds and creativity abounds."

Really beautiful atmosphere and great coffee. I went by here in the fall and it was super fun, ate outside.

A very quaint, special little spot who’s staff is very friendly and well versed in customer service. The food is always fresh, delicious, and consistent. I love the concept and appreciate the uniqueness it brings to Montross. The Toffee Frappe is my #1 favorite, the chicken salad, pastrami, and the Burgers are hands down the BEST!!! I recommend this GEM to anyone looking for an all around great experience!!!

This is a great place to grab breakfast or lunch and to take in local art.

Enjoyed this quaint coffee shop so much yesterday, I went back today for a different cup of coffee and breakfast. Looks like they converted an old gas station to a coffee house with the bathroom still on the exterior. They made to order delicious panini sandwiches too. Also have cute gifts to purchase. I wish this place was in my small town.

When I visited 10 years ago, I was not a fan of Art of Coffee. I have returned a few times in recent months and I am absolutely blown away. The food is amazing. The vibe is fun. The service is attentive. There prices are good for the portions and quality.
