Spacious and visually appealing cafe. The staff was nice and answered my questions about ingredients even when they were busy. The panini style bacon and egg breakfast sandwiches were fresh tasting and I look forward to having coffee sometime in the near future.

First time here. Very cute place & very friendly staff. We had 2 dark hot chocolates and 2 sandwiches. The cubano was ever so slightly filled. I’m new to this pimento cheese item but my grilled cheese was remarkably & disappointedly skimpy. Didn’t realize we ordered ‘wish’ sandwiches. Wish they had filling! Lol! Overall, cute place to meet and sip. The folks at the table next to us implied that as well. Maybe just sip!

Great lox and cream cheese breakfast option. I loved their seasonal pumpkin spice latte! Staff is friendly and the environment is cozy and welcoming.

Lovely little cafe with a warm atmosphere. The staff were helpful with suggestions since it was my first visit. Food was ok but I didn't visit based on a food recommendation. Perfect place if you work from home like myself and need a place to sit and work a few hours. Will definitely return.

Quaint farmhouse style with expansive bright sunny windows and large front porch for sipping your favorite brew. Inside has rich, warm wood paneling that makes it feel soothing and comfortable. Has an eclectic assortment of Virginia sourced products and gifts that include muffins, scones, ice cream, wine, beer, coffee and tea to brew at home, pasta and sauces, goats milk soaps, and even a few treats for the family dog! Nice menu selection for breakfast and lunch to enjoy inside the cafe or on the porch in nice weather. I had the Virginia Ham Cubano, that had thick slices of juicy pork, Virginia ham, white cheese, mustard and pickles all on a demi loaf of crusty bread. It was delicious, enough to save for lunch the next day! I also had a large hot Coffee Toffee Latte that was so smooth and flavorful easily making it the best cup of coffee I have ever had. Rich, smooth, flavorful, not too strong or sweet, but perfect. The server and barista were happy, charming and delightful! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will come again soon. There are multiple locations, but today I visited the Midlothian Market in the Millworks complex, just off Woodridge Road and near Midlothian Mines Park.

I used to write here all the time. Absolutely loved this place. I see people talking about it being over-priced but you used to get what you paid for. Six months or so ago I was leaving town on extended business and saw a change in management or ownership or whatever before I left.

Six months later I returned and am sadden to see my favorite spot has become a shell of its former self. Items and food have declined or completely disappeared yet the prices remained the same. The staff is friendly enough yet the magic is definitely gone. Many of them seem to always be training. I suppose due to turnover rate.

The final straw was today when they didn't even have lids for their coffee cups. I've ran coffee shops. That's 101 ordering right there. When there was a shortage of lids, I hit up a Sam's Club and stocked out of my own pocket due to standards I felt should be set for customers.

It's not that this place is bad. I can just feel the lack of care by either ownership or top management and the employees seem to be doing their best. I was happily willing to drop $20 to $25 dollars here three times a week when the product was worth it. Sadly it no longer is.

The lack of stock and attention to detail is glaring when compared to what this place was before. I'm far from the only one to speak on this issue. I drive past five coffee shops to come here. I think today will be the last time I do that.

I post this openly so that if management/ownership really does care about how awesome this place was and can be again, they'll take a real hard look at the product and environment they are offering and work harder to change. If I wanted the experience I've been getting, I'd might as well just go to a Starbucks.

Good luck, Guys.

FRESH and handmade breakfast sandwiches with coffee or other beverages made my morning! Great place to meet a business colleague. Clean facility with a lovely porch area. Staff are polite and hospitable.

Very nice place to get a good meal. The service was great, food to fresh, and atmosphere was the "unique" factor. It's priced a little high, but that's expected for fresh locally sourced food.
My kids enjoyed the parfait, grilled cheese, and danish. Great variety of food.

A message to ownership - HIRE MORE PEOPLE! The food, atmosphere, and employees were great. The establishment is beyond under staffed. A breakfast/coffee shop should not create lines out the door, over 20minute waits, and encourage end-of-line waiting customers to leave as a result of such slow service. You have a great establishment, but absolutely need to recognize the issue at hand which is you are losing business, money & customers by not processing and completing orders fast enough, especially on a Saturday morning.

Great atmosphere. We ordered the egg, bacon & cheese sandwich and the sample of jams plate. Yum! So good! Fresh fruit too! Unexpected was the sliced pear served with the sandwich. Delightful!
Jen, the asst manager was friendly and told us about upcoming menu changes. We tried one! Yummy!
We met Dave, the manager, and he was friendly and welcoming too!
We enjoyed our meal, the coffee, the ambiance and the people.
We’ll be back for sure!
