Stopped here two times during our stay in the area. Baked goods are so good! We tried the pumpkin scone, magic bar, and apple cinnamon breakfast cake. Also tried the breakfast Sammy and yogurt parfait-both excellent. Coffee is also really good. The inside is very cute and comfortable. Very clean and plenty of places to sit including the outside patio. We are happy we made the stop here. It was also perfect to grab on our way out of town.

Pros:
aesthetic and vibes are immaculate.
coffee is excellent and reasonably priced.
plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
generally fairly quiet.
Staff were friendly and excellent at their craft.

Cons:
Lack of power outlets (could be an issue if you were working/studying using an electronic device).

Parking may be an issue depending on what time you come. There are several street parking options within close proximity, but I had to drive around a bit before I found a space.

Navigation to the spot can be tricky if you're not familiar with the area—there aren't any signs on the exterior of the building (there was a chalkboard sign on ground level, but I missed that when I drove past). You actually have to either go in through the side shops on the left, or into the outdoor seating area and through glass doors before you see the coffee shop portion. This probably won't be an issue for most people, but for the directionally challenged (like me) just be prepared to maybe walk a little bit:)

Bottom line: go if you're in the area, it's worth it.

This is a wonderful coffee shop! They do a cappuccino the right way! (traditional 8 oz.) I came three times in the seven days I was in Harrisonburg, and every time had great service and amazing tasting coffee. Also, the amount of plants in here is absolutely stunning. :)

This is a small place within an eclectic shop. I was apprehensive at first because the menu is so limited, but boy howdy - the coffee is out of this world. I ordered a cinnamon, oat milk latte and sucked it down in about five minutes. The barista is friendly and skilled. The friend I was with, said the same thing!

Authentic crafted coffee, great roaster to boot and friendly baristas. I've only visited the location inside the Agora Shops in Harrisonburg, but they have a lovely spot near large windows, curated plants abound. A great study or reading spot with some patio tables outside when it's warm. When I visit a new city, I always find the best coffee roaster and Broad Porch represents this part of Virginia superbly. Get some of the Magic Bites, they're to die for!

Broad Porch is the best! Great coffee, atmosphere, and service! This location doesn’t serve food, but if you get the chance, check out their spot in Luray for yummy food and pastry options.

I got a caramel latte and it was one of the best I’ve had! It’s always hit or miss at coffee shops with that flavor but this was a 10/10. Cute place.

Whoa! This place is a place among places which cohabitates and creates waves in this sea of retail sensory overload. Creativity is the molecule that mixes with the oxygen in this place to provide this ultimate breath of fresh air. Not only are the visuals toe tickling…the coffee tastes like it was sourced from the Single Origin Heavens. The tea tastes like the leaves were laid to bask and dry in the sun rays of a solar eclipse happening on Mars and then transported back to earth on Loves Mothership. Try the magic bites by the register as well. They can be dipped in the coffee for the ultimate mouth monsoon if you prefer. Go out of your way to visit Broad Porch and it’s surrounds when you reach Harrisonburg VA. Decent coffee for sure! Bougie people and prices though, and the barista wasn't listening when I said no almond milk, and copped a low-key attitude with me, when I asked for what I ordered, because she poured a whole cup of milk.

In addition to house-roasted organic coffee beans, they offer delicious teas & hot chocolate as well! This cute little coffee shop is adorned with lots of live plants and lovely sunlight. They offer so many options from espresso drinks to pour overs, & iced coffees. You can buy whole beans as well, so fresh! There is plenty of seating to do a little work or get some reading done on one of their comfy sofas. Don't forget to bring your own mug for a discount (while saving the planet, one cup at a time)! I would highly recommend a visit!
