fika coffeehouse and cafe

Ordered the nitro London fog and was pretty disappointed, especially for the price. Watery and not a lot of flavor.

Hands down one of the best coffeehouses I’ve ever been too! Super cute and quaint atmosphere in the heart of Downtown Hampton Fika has awesome fresh choices on their menu and the crafted drinks are to die for! Highly recommend you will not be disappointed!

Pretty good and surprising. The potato chips take me back to Fall Festival. Thanks for the good memories.

Try the dirty chai latte, it's fantastic. Their hash was very well crafted. The acai bowl had very good fresh fruit toppings, but the acai on the bottom was very icy and underwhelming. But we will absolutely go back!

*Update*

A lot of the previous kinks have been worked out! I went during a slow time and reviewed speedy service. The barista (who may be one of the owners) told me about the cute holiday drinks. The next visit, the other baristas were very kind. It was a bit busier, but service was still timely. The holiday drinks are amazing - the creativity is #1 in the area. Definitely give them a visit in downtown Hampton!

I was greatly anticipating Fika's opening! I had hoped for a soft opening that was open to the public like other new local shops, but it was private. There are a lot of options on the menu, but not everything tasted great. I ordered a white chocolate latte and the espresso flavor overwhelmed the rest of the drink. The flavor was *unique* and I didn't enjoy it.

I then tried a pumpkin spice cold brew, it was great! Only a 4/5 because I asked the barista to add cream to the drink and she just added more foam instead.

The things that bring the review down to a 3 instead of a four were the flies landing on food sitting out and the atmosphere. Where other coffee shops attract a diverse crowd, Fika didn't give that same energy on any of my visits.

I always say, try everything three times so I'll give it another go in a few weeks.

This place was MUCH needed in Downtown Hampton! What a great spot to meet up with friends for breakfast or lunch, accompanied by a delicious drink, made by their amazing baristas! No one makes my drinks better than Renee. If you're lucky enough to have her make your drink, you're in for a treat. The food tastes amazing and the presentation is exceptional...kudos to Hailey and AJ....y'all rock! If you haven't made it to Fika, you are missing out!

Fika is an amazing Cafe. Friendly atmosphere, welcoming employees including the kitchen staff. Bye bye Starbucks. This is my only coffee spot in hampton, now. Keep up the AMAZING energy!
Also, after reading recent reviews, the "blonde lady" people are referring to is an outstanding Barista. She is awesome with guest and very hygienic. They seem to be post from a previous employee (or that employees friends)
Please do yourself a favor and come check out this awesome spot in downtown hampton!

I ABSOLUTELY loved this place! Baristas were wonderful! The space clean and friendly! Perfect for a quick coffee or a study break! I would absolutely come again!

Their food is super amazing. Me and my husband love their coffee. The environment is cozy. Amazing personality. Everyone should come visit.
