This place is good. Redone inside. Bagels are pretty good and decently priced. You can get all sorts of coffee and pastries. I do think the food needs a little more flavor.

We stopped here at this little coffee shop on our way to old rag and it’s the cutest little shop ever! I got a Cafe late with the Irish Cream and Raspberry flavor, so good! Service was great and being that it was our first time they were very helpful with picking flavors!

Picked up a great coffee on the road here. Also picked up a half dozen white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies for the family; the cookies were so darn good now I’m looking for an excuse to get back out that way just to stop in and get some more!

This place never disappoints, I never know what to expect when I order from here but they always exceed expectations. The only complaint I have is that they never have muffins and they are literally THE BEST! Best country fried steak I’ve ever had and it was in the drive thru. Amazing!

Very disappointed in this visit. I have lived in the area for 3 months and I've been trying to find a coffee shop that I could go to fairly regularly. It's not going to be it. Got a latte that cost $8.14. They charge you for the base sweetener, milk and ice. They ask if I wanted a chocolate drizzle on top and I agree and they charged me for it but they just didn't do it. I had waited in line and by the time I got the drink I was disappointed and just left. I won't be returning there because there's no value and the quality is not even that great. Before I moved here I used to support the local coffee shop by going there at least five times a week. I won't be able to do this one because there's no value and it's just not worth it. One more thing the straw is more than twice the length of the cup. That makes it very awkward as well. This was just a total waste of a visit my $8.14 gone.

Food was delicious! However, the baguette slices that came with the pimento cheese should’ve been toasted. The drive through took a little longer, but I’m hopeful that as the staff gets into their groove it’ll run a lot faster in the future. Overall I definitely recommend this place!

I thoroughly enjoy this place for a variety of reasons. The location is convenient (right off the traffic circle), indoor and outdoor seating, drive-through service, plenty of parking, clean facilities, etc. I only get lattes there so I cannot speak about the quality of the food, but in looking at the menu they have a variety of dishes and confections. They also open early enough that if you are an early riser you don't have to wait long for them to open. The down side is that they close at 4pm but there are other nearby cafes to make up for evening hours. The place is a bit pricey, but I'd rather pay a little more for a small, local business.

East of Maui isn't the best coffee shop in town, but when others open at 9:00AM, this is a good option for a drive-thru cup of coffee and a pastry that is decent and won't break the bank. Due to understaffing, their kitchen is closed, which means their menu of breakfast sandwiches, wraps and lunch offerings aren't available. The coffee I had was scaling hot, so much so that I have to leave it for most of my drive because I could take a sip and again, it wasn't bad. Overall, it's the best option in the area for that early-morning-commute coffee.
Be mindful however, that it can be a little awkward to get to due to its location on the roundabout.

We were spending a weekend away in Gordonsville, I was not expecting to find a coffee shop nearby but when we past East of Maui I did a double take! We came twice and both experiences were lovely. My lattes were delicious (they have an insane amount of flavors to try as well). My boyfriend is not a coffee drinker but we both got food there as well. The portion sizes are huge especially for a cafe but we were pleasantly surprised. Not the cheapest place but for the quality and the portions you are getting, it is definitely worth it! I think it is weird that people are complaining about having to wait a few minutes to get your items. Food and coffee take time to prepare! If you are in that big of a rush, hit a Dunkin/Starbucks drive through and keep it pushing! Also the staff was very sweet especially Eddie!
