A good soft serve with very generous portions at a reasonable price. One tip: if it's warmer than 75 degrees outside go for the cup instead of the cone. I'm pretty sure they can do anything with a cup they can do with a cone (sprinkles, twist, dips, etc.) and you won't be racing to finish your cone before it drips all over your hands and feet. And the drive through is super convenient!

We take vacation close to here every year and we visit this place almost every day.. great coffee and donuts and delicious ice cream of many flavors!!

This is my favorite ice cream place on the island. Be careful with recent reviews because people will try to destroy this place because of a past event literally everyone apologized for but you know cancel culture

we went here 2 nights in a row and i was very happy with both visits. the first visit i got a marshmallow sundae and it was very good, and the second night i got a mini split sundae, which was also very good. mr. whippy has amazing service, nice employees and its very fast. i definitely recommend this place for yummy soft serve and sundae and its an amazing substitute for when island creamery has a long line

Great ice cream! And the donuts were delicious, I had a lemon donut and a chocolate cream donut, the cream was delicious, but halfway through it didn't sit right, but it tasted fine. It may have been sitting out too long, but overall, a good experience. I also love that they have a drive thru!

Absolutely a recommendation from me. I've had about 10 different items from the menu in my two different visits to Chincoteague.

We visited during the pandemic and were extremely happy with the service and ice cream! Keep in mind, this is soft serve, so you really can't compare it to Island Creamery, which is also excellent. I don't understand why people try to compare the two - you really need to experience both of them while in Chincoteague! We went through the drive through and it was quick and easy to get our order. I wanted a simple hot fudge sundae and it did not disappoint! The hot fudge was good, the size was good, and the price was good. I can't wait to go back! Well done, and absolutely worth more than 5 stars!

Good ice cream good price pay with cash no card allowed

I noticed a sign at Mr. Whippy basically asking customers to be patient and kind to their staff as they are young and inexperienced but willing to work. I am saddened that you had to post a sign like that. Some people are losing their humanity. Hopefully most of us customers are still understanding and appreciative. I LOVE your service and ice cream and make Mr. Whippy a regular stop every time we vacation here! Thank you for all you do and your willingness to remind people to do the right thing!
