Pale Horse Coffee - Great Bridge

This place ROCKS!!! We ordered online, and something happened to the package. Long story short, we only received a part of the order (think USPS busted the box and tried to “fix” things….) Contacted Elena, the production manager, and explained the situation. Not only did she remember packing our order (kudos!), but she was VERY apologetic and made things right!! She sent the remaining order via FedEx and we received it even quicker than the original order. When so many businesses say, “it’s not our fault,” and move on, Elena made this right and made a customer from Colorado for life! Thx Pale Horse!!

I've been waiting for a coffeeshop in Chesapeake for a long time that isn't Charbucks. Pale Horse does NOT disappoint.

I am not a real fan of crazy flavored coffee but I had a Warthog with an extra doubleshot and it was really good.

The atmosphere is really chill and your staff members are very hospitable.

Unlike their competitors Pale Horse seems to be proud and patriotic which will get my business any time.

I asked for a recommended drink and ended up with the Warthog. I cant believe what I had!!! It was sweet but not syrup sweet, it was more natural and so flavorful.

I also stayed quite awhile to study and the baristas were very friendly and offered water and never hustled me as if I had over stayed my welcome.

I saw folks come in their dogs and everyone was met with a great vibe.

Walked away with a bunch of coffee beans and I'll definitely be back

Delicious coffee with a great atmosphere. Masculine, but not overwhelming for the female clientele. The price point is more expensive than the coffee shops in Los Angeles when I lived there. It is dark inside, so it’s not my ideal place to do work, it just a still a great cup of coffee and a great pro America atmosphere.

Love the coffee here but sometimes young girls get talking so much that they forget to make the coffee for customers waiting. Had to wait quite a bit today. Wish the owners were present a bit more. This didn’t happen when they were present. I get they are very friendly but the only two workers today were both in long conversation with other customer behind and made his coffee first, kinda forgot mine very brief sorry about the wait. Not cool over 10 minutes just talking and ignoring orders.

Delicious lattes, enjoyable atmosphere. Veteran owned local business with a fun twist in menu names. Must try! 10/10 will caffeine again

Sheyenne and Ashley help me out every morning I come in and are super helpful when I'm indecisive. Definitely recommend stopping by sometime! Also, happy birthday Ashley 🎉

Great shop. When I asked for a house specalty the barista told me she'd have it right up that usually Throughs baristas for a loop. It was a cold brew with Sweet cream and was exclent. I asked if there was anything else I needed to try and was walked to the bean section and was told about a couple veriates. Well waiting to pay I noticed there rip cord latte (toffee and cinnamon) so I ordered one iced. It was outstanding, I would drive an hour for my next one, unfortunately I'm close to an 8 hour drive. Will stop again next time in the area. Job well done.
