ESP Tea & Coffee

The first time came to order Chai Latte. The person behind the counter took his sweet time to finish his phone call. I asked if they had brown sugar, and he pointed toward a stand. I said, “ oh, thank you, I did not see it.” I went to add sugar, and after trying it - it was super sweet. I asked him if this latte already had sugar, and he said yes. I wondered why he would not say so. He said he assumed I knew. How could I know if you can see I am first time here and was not familiar with your place and it doesn't say on the menu. He did not offer to make a new one. I just left that cup right there and left. I just wasted $4.99. Terrible customer service!

I’ve recently tried my first matcha latte and turmeric latte here and they were both outstanding ! The service is wonderful and it’s such a peaceful environment.

I also had the bacon quiche and it was absolutely delicious ! I’ll be coming back here every time I’m in town !

Best lattes in town, hands down, no contest. Great coffee if you’re a coffee connoisseur 😍 It’s the closest coffee I’ve found in the DMV area that comes close to European-level good. Would highly recommend any coffee lovers to come!!

Nice establishment! The folks that work there are kind. I visited on a Monday morning while in the area for business and the quiet and calm ambiance was a welcome breath of fresh air in an otherwise busy city!

Cool place. Cool staff. The guy knew his tea-making techniques.
...unfortunately I followed his fancy instructions and ended up paying $7 for a tea that tasted like hot water

All you want in a Coffee+++ Shop. Great Peeps and Passion for food & drink. The art is good food for the soul too!

The coffee is so smooth and delicious! Wonderful customer service as well! Definitely a must visit in Old Town!

It's just like being back in the Village, NYC. I was relieved to come back to the reincarnated ESP to see things are mostly the same with cozy decor and seating, empanadas, and decent drinks. Can't ask for a better place to drink and do stuff.

Their pies and pancake are outrageously amazing. So is the latte. Will definitely come back to try their entire menu.

First time back here since the new management. The first thing that struck me was that everytime I've gone here before it was almost impossible to find a seat - it was always packed during the day. When I entered I was struck by the fact that it was completely empty.

On a positive note, they have done a great job on the ambiance and decor. The employees were very friendly as well.

But now the bad. I ordered a simple large iced coffee. And it was OVER 5 dollars. For an iced coffee. My jaw nearly hit the floor. The prices are a bit ridiculous. Don't get me wrong it was good...but I'm sorry, no regular iced coffee is worth that much.

Sadly won't be returning here with the prices where they are. I would suggest nearby Misha's for a slightly more affordable option.
