Cold Hollow Cider Mill

Had a great time with my family and lots of local vermont made products. Everyone that works there is always so nice. Their homemade apple cider and cider doughnuts are amazing.

Absolutely loved our visit here, well worth the 35 minute drive out from Burlington where we we stayed while in VT. Gorgeous scenery, loved browsing through the store and had a great time watching the cider pressing process as well. Will definitely return and recommend!

So I am hunting down the best Donuts in the state of VT. This place was ranked number 1 according to Yahoo. Lots of offerings in this place. The Apple cider drinks are amazing. But I came for the star of the show the Apple cider donuts. The donut was tasty but I do say that this donut must be eaten within A-day or 2 if not it will not be good after that. Very cute place to stop and have a short refreshing break. Had the cold cider and the apple doughnuts, and it was delicious.

The cider and donut was yum. Tried a few breakfast options and liked the Vermonta. The sampling starts late and ends quite a early (11-4pm I think). Enjoyed the shop. They had a lot of fun quirky stuff to buy.

We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and had to come up with plans because of Covid, our trip to Europe was scrapped. We decided to spend 7 days going to 7 states and in ALL of Vermont, we stopped here and it was WORTH IT!!!
An amazingly welcoming atmosphere, smiling faces and AWESOME apple cider! (Plus, the restaurant had a fabulously delicious roast beef panini. (Seriously, in 7 days and 7 states, Cold Hollow Cider Mill stood out as one of the best parts of our trip)
Watching the staff making donuts was really cool but the apple cider was the best I have ever tasted.
We had a great lunch and the great thing is they closed at 3pm, it was going on 2:30. When we asked how late they were open and they told us it was closing soon, we tried to skip eating lunch but they wouldn’t have it! (we never want to be that family that goes in 5 minutes before closing)
They insisted we eat there and between you and me, it felt like they maybe tricked us into a great lunch by telling us the closing time was actually 4pm, which it wasn’t and we were grateful for the hospitality.
So when we fly back to Florida, one of our mugs broke 😢 in the luggage, when I called them to ask about purchasing a replacement, Todd called me back and informed me that they had an extra mug come in and they would get that safely sent to us!!! (They aren’t charging us the shipping fee offered in store and only charging us for the postage and replacement cost of the mug!!! Yay!)
So we’re definitely going back next time we visit Vermont because an experience like that must be had again!
We definitely recommend going even if it’s a couple hours out of the way!!

Delicious apple cider donuts and pies. Also hot apple cider and hard cider with tasting fleets available. Also a wide variety of gifts and momentos from Stowe Vermont. They are also a Harvest Host for RVers.

My favorite place in all of Stowe! A GREAT place to bring everyone of all ages. Free Samples of Cider, delicious Apple Cider Donuts and other baked goods made on site. They also have a wide range of local products for purchase. Jam, Honey, as well as many souviner items like postcards and t-shirts. Highky recommend, a great place to stop no matter the weather outside or time of year!

A very good store with a large selection of real maple syrup and various apple products. You can also buy cider and donuts here. Well, souvenirs if necessary. Cool place!

This place is fantastic. My wife and I have visited here several times (before and during the pandemic). Excellent location, great selection of various goods (clothing, syrups, spices, CIDER, etc..). The fresh apple cider doughnuts with hot apple cider are amazing. During the pandemic, staff are still wearing masks, asking to social distance. I've had things shipped out of state from here, and the items shipped are packed well and safe. Excellent customer service, and will definitely be returning again on our next trip!

On a side note, you also get some nice views of the solar farm nearby.
