I find many of their baked goods to have the same flavor, so there's not a whole lot of strength or variety, but what they do they do well.
Mostly I'm in it for the atmosphere; I love sitting on the porch (though they do allow inside seating now!).

Love their tasty treats that are freshly made everyday. Hot dishes are all quite tasty too. I especially enjoyed Mac n trees, while my friend liked the harvest bowl. Cozy joyful atmosphere, very friendly staff!

Exceptionally good desserts and baked goods. And not for "vegan standards" or anything like that. People with real talent and skill are behind the recipe development and execution here. Maybe there is some alchemy involved after all!
The variety and rotation of desserts is impressive, the food is delicious and portions are filling (the fact that it's all vegan is just the cherry on top), the prices are very sensible and the ambience is lovely and mellow inside the cafe. I don't think it gets much better than this.

Really really GREAT food for vegans, a tiny bit of a drive ~15m from burlington in a red barn houses some of the best sweets out there in VT. I had a bunch of stuff from there menu and everything was delicious!! Amazing portions, great prices and super friendly staff here! Enjoy -

Perfect baked good is a beautiful farm setting. The cranberry chocolate slice was so good.

Love the food but as they have mentioned on their website, it’s not safe for celiac or true gluten allergies, which effectively negates the gluten fee aspect of their cooking. I wish they just stuck to gluten free cooking as they are super tasty and are the only place around that can cook vegan and gluten free (if there wasn’t cross contamination issues). That’s said after becoming very ill, it’s not worth the risk. I hope someday, places that cater to gluten free people, will cater to people that are gluten free not by choice.

We are OBSESSED with this place! Everything is amazing, but current faves are the breakfast burrito and homemade chai latte.
Often, vegan restaurants rely on heavy use of garlic and onions to "replace" meat flavor, but here, there are no such lazy shortcuts and everything is super delicious without the use of alliums, which we are so grateful for. And as we all know, vegan baked goods are challenging, but they nail it every time here! You can't go wrong, the take-home freezer meals are also a real treat.
We drive 40 mins from Stowe just to eat here, it's so worth it!

Delicious food and friendly staff! Charming cafe in a beautiful countryside setting. So many great items on their menu. While the name says it all, there are of course a plethora of sweet baked items to choose from, but the same goes for their tasty entrees, fresh smoothies, plus their hot and cold drinks. Well worth the drive. Will be back again soon. Highly recommend Sweet Alchemy!

This place is INCREDIBLE! The baked goods are really next level in both flavor and variety. I had the best cinnamon roll of my entire life there last week, and can’t wait to get another. Their lunch and breakfast options are also super tasty, filling, and veg-filled. Highly recommend this spot!
