Such a cute store, in a quaint little town in Vermont! Smells of fresh espresso, with baked goods and a great variety of organic and Vermont made products!
We are very lucky to have a natural/local grocer in this part of the state. This has actually become our go to store for weekly groceries. They make excellent drinks inside their cafe, the prices are reasonable, lots of local products, and staff are always friendly.
Delightful baked goods and great coffee bar. They carry a good selection of local and organic food items and have friendly staff. They don't always have what I'm looking for, but what they do have is great quality so I often look there first. Highly recommended for unique foraged mushrooms, duck eggs, and gluten free goodies.
This place was ok. I've visited here a handful of times nice little place to get a random assortment of goods. I go for the mushroom tea. However my most recent visit and first since covid hit was unpleasant. Not only did i get sold a vegan item that wasn't vegan.but my facemask slipped slightly past my nostril (still covering mouth), i was the only person in the shop and was abruptly asked to inch up my mask to cover my nose. Just slightly off putting considering tone and circumstance. The pumpkin latte didnt taste like pumpkin at all. They still have the best mushroom tea ive had. Soooo 🤷🏾♂️
We walked in after a nice hike for a coffee and were rudely told to leave because we had parked our car incorrectly. After aggressively pointing out my mistake she also made sure to add a very snarky comment about my car taking 6 spaces. Given I didn't drive there in my limo, I don't think that was possible but regardless I hope she can take some anger management classes if I promise to take parking lessons.
Get some coffee and a snack, our lemon muffin was delicious. The coffee is bomb and cheap. The rooms for rent upstairs are great too, just as advertised. Very close to Smugglers Notch. We will be back.

I would say that's about as authentic and experiences you could have just stopping off the side of the road peeking inside and getting a cuppa coffee!
