Speeder & Earl's Coffee

Pretty reliably good coffee, quiet space, good deals on mug refills if you're sticking around, really cool plants. They also always have a selection of drip coffee which is appreciated. They're maple roasted iced coffee is also awesome if you wanted something a bit sweet but still want a black coffee.

Lots of sunlight, XM radio, friendly knowledgeable staff and great coffee what more can you ask for? Vibe is very 2nd wave coffee and environment is very spacious, airy and unpretentious! Unique coffeeshop. Definitely worth a trip.

Nice quick, quality coffee with awesome prices. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's worth a stop. Serves all styles of hot caffeine drinks

A tradition in Burlington and for good reason. The roasts are awesome and the staff completes the experience like a heart on your latte. Make this a must see stop when here 😎

Solid coffee shop with wonderful selections. Bit light of the caffeine for my brew but still good. Will come back again.

Best hot mocha in town I have found, conveniently located and has an online ordering option. Large selection of coffee beans to go and you can get them freshly ground how you want them there which provides a great option for supporting local AND saving money by brewing at home.

With all the solid coffee shops and roasters in Burlington, I wouldn't bother with Speeder and Earl's. Entering the shop seeing a wall full of flavored coffees you know you're probably not in for a great experience. Unfortunately, it does not surprise. The coffee was not good. There were off flavors in what was supposed to be single origin. I'm guessing they brew flavored coffees in the same machines as the supposed single origins. Beans are definitely not freshly roasted. The service was good though and the prices are reasonable. Probably too reasonable...

I love a local like Speeder Earls. Extensive menu, sunny tables available for a date or meet up. I asked the man at counter for a suggestion and I had a lovely treat for myself and my chichi. She was a big fan of the chocolate foam. Before any one gets upset about a dog drinking a bit of foam the girl is 16 and she does what she wants.

Had my first 20 oz cup of Speeder and Earls today, I’d agree with most of the posts here and say it definitely wasn’t strong on the caffeine content. I got the maple syrup flavored beans, and something totally weird but relevant… whenever I pee I smell maple syrup? Anyone else?

Great coffee shop with wonderful selections. Server on Sat. morning was a saint. Long line out the door, but she kept positive and made great coffees quickly with a smile the whole time. Go early, they do not make enough of the various foods offered, never was able to enjoy any of those as arrived in afternoon both times.
