Great selections throughout the store, also good for small gifts. Best grilled sandwiches, homemade soups, and bakery items.

This is a stellar little spot. Very expensive and very high quality groceries, probably the best fresh meat in the region. The restaurant menu is delicious and affordable, check it out!

This was one of the worst places I have ever been to. Very disappointed!!!!! I remember driving through Vermont as a child and we would always stop at the Brownsville General store. I was very excited to see that it was being revamped and was very optimistic. However, after visiting i long for the original store. When you first walk in the “Butcher and Pantry” you see dead animals hanging on display. It was a little off putting to HAVE TO stare at my meal hanging on a hook. Then, when I ordered the woman up front was very rude and short. This surprised me because there were not many other customers in the store. No wonder. I ended up paying for a very expensive and underwhelming meal. If you want good service, reasonable prices, and good food, I recommend you travel back in time to visit the Brownsville General store.
P.s Where are the gas tanks?!

The best sandwiches and store. Friendly staff and great items to shop. Also can eat out on the deck, picnic tables or sit by a river in the back! Well worth the trip!

Live nearby and am so very glad and thankful this little market is here. So many rather hard-to-find and unique items!

The food is amazing! Those pesto fries are life altering and the baked goods are worth the trip. I can't wait to visit this summer.

Awesome business, super friendly staff, and delicious food. Appreciate the emphasis on sustainable farming practices and the excellent array of products. We visited for lunch and that experience, returned the next day for breakfast. Food was fantastic, burger and fries were excellent and three people in our group got the Pastrami and said it was one of the best Pastrami sandwiches they had ever had. The burger was very flavorful and the beef fat fries were great. For breakfast the following day, the Breakfast burrito with Carnitas was awesome and the Pantry Griddler was excellent as well. Definitely worth a stop for take out and to purchase the makings of a charcuterie board.

Cute store with a small town feel. Way over priced for pretty much everything in the store. Orders bagels they aren't bad however paid 24 dollars for a lobster roll and it was absolutely disgusting. I could smell it through the bag wasn't very pleasant went for a bite and instantly regretted it. The lobster was definitely out dated not fresh at all!
