Amy's Bakery Arts Cafe

Edited: After posting a review about an unfortunate birthday cake experience at Amy's, I received a personal call from Amy herself, who was very apologetic. It turned out there had been a mix up and we were given the wrong birthday cake, and the email had a typo in it on their FB page (this has now been fixed) which explained the communication issues. She very kindly gave us a full refund, as well as buying us lunch. She also promised to improve their communication so that this doesn't happen again. Side note: The sandwiches, cookies and drinks we had when we came in for the refund were freaking delicious.

The perfect place to get a quick, quality lunch from a friendly staff. The dining area has a great view of the river and there is always art on exhibit. Excellent breads and pastries.

This is a great cafe to grab a homemade sandwich, soup, salad, or baked good. I had a (fresh-carved) turkey sandwich with cranberry chutney, lettuce, tomato, and I added avocado. My friend got the salad with goat cheese and it looked yummy. If I was hungrier, I would have tried one of the homemade soups! Everything is made from scratch and a lot healthier than a place like Panera Bread which has tons of hidden calories in the breads and sandwiches. Highly recommended and delicious!!

The only drawback is that the seating area can get pretty cramped and the people working there weren't rude per say, but they weren't extremely friendly either. Also, expect to pay $10 for salads and $3-5 for soup (sandwiches vary.)

Nobody cleans tables.
There was food on floor in dining area that had been there quite some time.
It is very dirty ceiling fan nasty dirty and lights full of cob webs.
I don't know that I'll go back.
The food is really good but overall it's pretty dirty in there.

Nice place for a cup of coffee with a superb chocolate cake.

A great Dagwood sandwich and dreamy creamy butternut squash and coconut soup!

Amy's delights me every time. From their sandwich to their soup selection, their baked goods and breads, to the great dining room with the sweeping landscape view, and the friendly crew, every visit is a treat.

Nice veg.sand. with garlicky hummus. I liked the iced coffee and comfortable dining. All self serve. Brought home some crazy good chocolate cake for my daughter. Another day the most delish tiny quiche. Mmm. Can't wait to try veg reuban.

Great cappuccino (smooth and not acidic) and great gluten free pastry options (brownie, almondhorn).

Fantastic friendly service compared to some in Battleboro in a recent video by AP and Ben deserving of 5 stars alone!!
